Cassie grinned. "Yes. I did realize Derec. Thank you for confirming the obvious," she said, sticking her tongue out. These guys weren't actually that bad to hang out with. At first she thought they were just stuck up popular pricks.. but they weren't half bad.

She winced slightly as she imagined the high pitched screeches. "I pity the poor people who are in their right minds. Having to deal with all that noise," Cassie said, shaking her head.

"Oh... the girls will have to find another target to drool over now," Cassie said, dramatically as if it were the end of the world. Yep. That's probably how the minds of these girls worked. Seriously. Did they have nothing better to do than sa-woon and drool over guys?

She rolled her eyes at Derec. Yeah. Right. Probably has some trick up his sleeve. He'd do it again for sure.

Pat smiled, knowing that he wouldn't be able to think straight for the next few minutes; that was fine with him. He nodded in amusement to her cocked head. Sure, he chuckled, Whatever you want. He smiled and for once, was not hungry in the slightest. He probably was, but his mind was too preoccupied to think about it.

"Your very welcome, Ms. Cassie. I'm just doing my job and doing it well."he said, winking at her playfully.

Derec nodded in agreement. "So do I. Poor people, probably covering their ears with pillows or other things to drown out the noise."he said, trying to hold back laughter. If it where him, he probably would have done the silencing charm, just to have peace and quiet to sleep. Ah....sleep....

"Yep. How will they ever survive?!"he said, clapping his hands on to his face and making a shock face. "Why! It might be the end of the world for thoose poor drool covered girls!"he added, his eyes all wide. He turned to Tallan. "We better stop! Or the whole world will be covered with drool attacking, love struck, GIRLS!"he said, a big smirk on his face.

Cassie laughed at Derec. Well if there WAS such a position, he'd be hired immediately. She laughed at what Derec said and shook her head. "Those poor people," Cassie said. "Thank goodness Ravenclaws aren't like that!" Hopefully they weren't. She didn't want to have to deal with such problems in the future. Ditsy girls.

Cassie rolled her eyes. "If that were to happen, please send me to outer space. I don't think I can handle anymore 'drool attacking, love struck, GIRLS'. Just think of it. No one to drool and obsess over. No one to stalk. What ever shall they do?" she said and put her hand in front of her eyes in the motion of "fainting".

She grinned and pushed herself up with her free hand, the other one that was still in his gave a small tug as she looked down at him. "Its nice being taller than you for a change." She smiled at him. Once she had stopped thinking she noticed her heart was banging 20 times more than usual.

"Which word. I. Want To. Be or Taller?" She grinned and slid her free hand around his elobow leaning her head into his arm slightly. "Reckon the others will be in there by now?"

Derec laughed. "Oh I'm sure Ravenclaws would be like that if Tallan and I got to them."he said, winking. "Gryffindors are deffintly not like that. We're just brave and good looking."he added, smirking.

He chuckled. "Ok then. Three....two...one....blast off!! Oh darn, looks like your stuck with the drooling girls."he said, shaking with laughter. He nodded. "Ya. The world without stalkers. Such a boring world."he said, shaking his head saddly.

Finally the doors where in sight to the great hall. "Yes! FOOD!"he yelled as he streaked to through the doors right down to the table. Grabing whatever was in front of him, he piled his plate with potatoes, roast, rolls, and other good looking stuff. Spearing some potatoes and roast, he sighed. Good food is good for the heart he had discided.

Tallan just chuckled and shook his head as he listened to Cassie and Derec talk about drooling girls and blast offs. He grinned as he caught sight of the great hall, and Derec took off.

Walking casually over, Tallan sat down across from his best friend. "Hungry?" he asked, raising an eyebrow sarcastically. He had already eaten, so he - by some miracle - wasn't hungry.

Derec nodded. "Very. I could eat the whole school. But I imagine it wouldn't taste very good. To......bricky......ever tasted bricks? Not good."he said, stuffing some roll in his mouth.

Cassie rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out. "You wish Averson. Ravenclaws are sensible and intelligent. Unlike Gryffindors who do stupid things without thinking," she said defiantly, and smirked.

"Oh.. darn. I was hoping to see Mars too. But there's probably like drooling girl martians. Right? They'll come all like 'OMG! Tallan Heights' and Derec Averson's autograph!'" Cassie, said thoughtfully. Ick. There were obsessive drooling females all over the place. SHE could live without stalkers. Boy. Would life be just great.

Cassie walked in with the two boys and flinched when Derec yelled out. "Geez. Derec. Can you be anymore louder?" she asked, holding onto her ear. She sat down at the Gryffindor Table, receiving many odd glances from other people. Cassie just stared at them. What was so weird about making new friends? "Gosh Derec. It's as if you've been deprived of food as a child. Or that you haven't eaten in years. How can one person be so hungry?"

She glanced around at the food and piled some potatoes... chicken.. french fries.. more potatoes.. wow.. she was hungry herself!

Cassie smirked. "You know it's the truth," she said. He just didn't want to admit it. She rolled her eyes at the next part. "Is there any place in the galaxy where there are NO drooling obsessive girls. Please do tell me!" Cassie said. AH!!! Seriously.. was there?

"Please don't then. I don't think my ears can take it," she said, laughing. "Uh-huh. And many of that stuff is thinking of stupid things, planning them, and then doing them. I gotcha."

Pat smiled, but didn't end up saying much about it. It wasn't that he wasn't amused - he was - he was just having a great time walking with her and not having to act like the super-macho joker that he was around his friends. They should be. If I know Tal and Der, they will be. He chuckled slightly and smiled down at her.

He rolled his eyes, exagerrating the movement. "What ever floats your boat I guess."he said, grinning. When she asked if there was a place, he smirked. "Well maybe Pluto.....but didn't those muggles say it's not a planet? So you'd really be excluded in the world."he smirked. At least no one would bug her. "If you do plan on moving there, I'll be sure to stop by every now and then, just to say hi."he added, winking.

He shrugged. "Ok then. I mean, we wouldn't want your ears to fall off."he said, smiling. He nodded. "Well, yes it does. You see, that's what make our lives more interesting. You never know what stupid thing we might do next."he said, grinning.

Cassie smirked. "Floating it is," she said, as she grabbed an apple to bite into. Hmm.. delicious. "Oh yeah. What is that about? Well... at least no drooling girls right?" she said, shrugging. Cassie rolled her eyes. "I'll look forward to that."

"Yes we wouldn't," she said, giving the two her puppy dog innocent face, all the while holding onto her ears. Cassie laughed. "That's true I guess. And it just makes my life entertaining to see it."

Tallan listened to Cassie and Derec, his eyebrows raised very high on his forehead. He was holding back laughter. Was this what he looked like to others? Talking to his friends - quite loudly - about the weirdest things?

Yes. And that was awesome.

As that thought crossed his head, he started laughing. He turned away from the table and stuck his legs out in the open space, still chuckling. It was a good thing he was good-looking, or people would think he was crazy. Or maybe people already did, and they just overlooked that little detail because he was so amazingly handsome. [/ego]

Nicole had got bored waiting in the common room so she walked down to the Great Hall, hopefully she might see Nessy or someone. When she got to the Gryffindor table she sat down by Tallan "I should've known you'd be here." Nicole muttered as she sat down.

Tallan grinned when he saw Nicole walk in. When she sat down next to him, he put an arm around her shoulder. "Sorry...Derec got hungry, and, well..." he shrugged. The rest of the story was obvious; They came down to the Great Hall so that Derec could eat.

"That's fine," Nicole said grinning at Tallan. "And not surprising really, being full of yourselves and eating is all you two ever seem to do." She said teasingly but kissed him on the cheek.

Tallan laughed. "Surprisingly, I haven't eaten one thing since we've gotten here." He told Nicole, looking over at her and smirking. "Derec's been the one stuffing his face." he added, raising his eyebrows and tipping his head in the general direction of one of his best friends.

"Wow. Really? I'm proud of you Mr. Heights." Nicole said to him and winked playfully and she leaned against Tallan looking up at his blue eyes with a soft smile.

Derec rolled his eyes, bitting into a soft roll. Yum, yum, and very yum. His head nodding he turned to face her again. "I know huh? I mean, Pluto is a planet. Even the overly dramatic centars said so."he said, smirking. Muggles where so...weird. "Oh yes. No drooling girls."he added, patting her on the back. "Where's the excitment! I heard none in that comment you just said."he sniffed. "I feel crushed."he said, spearing a piece of roast. He inded up stabing it to hard and the ancient silver forks spear points bent a bit. "Oops."he said, rubbing the back of his neck, and grinning sheepishly.

He burst out laughing. "We could always use stelotape!"he said, already looking for it in his bag. Pulling it out he grinned. "Want some to keep them on?"he said, wiggling his eyebrows. He rolled his eyes. "I'm glad I make your life....what was it you said? Entertaining?"he said, winking.
Derec looked over at Tallan concernly. "And you thought I had problems."he muttered. "He's the one laughing randomly." He patted Tallan on the back. "Maybe some food would help."he said, tossing him a roll.

He glared slightly at the Cole and Tallan as they said he was stuffing his face. Ok. So it was....slightly true...but hey! He had been working hard all day and he had skiped lunch. (a big thing for Derec) "Be nice."he said through a mouthful of potatoes and beans. Of coarse it sounded more like "B-um nick"

"Sorry, what was that?" Nicole asked smiling at Derec, she didn't catch a word of what he had said because his mouth was so full. "Mind saying that again?" She asked looking at Derec.
