"If you didn't talk with your mouth full then there wouldn't be a problem in the first place." Nicole told Derec, "and I think the same thing about Tallan." She said to him.

Cassie smiled at the girl who was talking. She had no clue who the girl was, but seemed interesting. Cassie felt so alienated next to these guys. She didn't know them. And this was the first time se had ever talked to them. And it was tough to keep up with them. They just go vroom vroom vroom right by her! "Tough luck Tallan," Cassie, said, snickering.

Nicole laughed lightly, she then smiled at the girl that was sitting there too. "Hey, I'm Nicole Riverson by the way." She introduced herself and glanced back at Derec. "I didn't say I was on your side, but both of you stuff your faces."

Cassie laughed and rolled her eyes. What a traitor to his best mate. "Nice to meet you Nicole," she said, smiling at the girl. "I'm Cassie." Cassie glanced at the two boys and shook her head grinning.

"Nice to meet you Cassie." Nicole said grinning as well, she was also pretty glad that Cassie was there. It was nice to have another girl around when she was always around boys so much, well apart from Nessy but she had no idea where she was.

Tallan grinned and ate the roll that Derec tossed him. He was silent for a bit after eating, then chuckled when Nicole said that he and Derec stuffed their faces. "Guys do that," he commented simply, again giving her a one-armed hug.

After yawning - his mouth opening very, very much; a whole hippogriff could land in it and make a nest - Tallan chuckled again. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired..."

Nicole nodded, "I'm pretty tired too." She said leaning against him again, "I wonder where Nessy and Pat are though." Nicole murmured softly although she knew whatever they were doing they'd be fine.

Derec sighed. "How sad. And to think I actually had won this one."he sniffed. Then he grinned. "It's a natural thing for us. You see, if we didn't, then we would be sticks like you girls are."he commented, winking.
Derec grinned. "See! Now you have to believe me cause he said it."he smirked. Derec rolled his eyes. "Wow."he mumbled out. Did guys always have to, be all lovey dovey with their.....love?

Derec chuckled. "I guess your tired."and then he yawned and stretched. "I guess I'm tired too. Do you want me to walk you to your common room Cassie?"he asked, smiling.

"I'm not a stick!" Nicole said poking her tongue out at Derec. She didn't eat as much as them but she still wasn't too skinny. "Wow what?" She asked Derec looking at him curiously.

Cassie rolled her eyes. They were sticks. "You're an idiot Derec," she said, laughing. She cocked her head when he mumbled to himself. Weird kids blubbering to themselves. Nonsense.

"Why. How gentleman of you. I think I'll take you up on that offer," Cassie said, winking at him. She then yawned. Wow. She was really tired. Being around Derec and Tallan had worn her out.

Okay, so it's the next day, alrighty? Everyone wake up and get ready for the second day of school! And all you evil Slythies out there, start helpin Kesler! ;)

Tallan woke with a start. He'd been dreaming...but he couldn't remember what about. All that he could recall was that it was very bright. Like a beach, or something. He didn't know.

On second thought, maybe it was just his stomach that had woken him. Yeah, that was probably it.

He looked around the dorm, wondering if he should through a shoe at his friends again. Derec had chewed him out pretty good for it yesterday, and Pat hadn't appreciated it too much either. But it was so much fun!

Finally deciding on a not-so-brutal wake up call, Tallan just opened all the windows, letting the bright, early morning sunlight filter in. He got dressed quickly, and started walking off toward the stairs.

Jenna grumbled incoherantly to herself and pulled her blanket up over her head. She did NOT want to get up yet. She didn't want to do anything today, and she didn't want to go have to deal with every other stupid kid in the school. Well, except all the Slytherins. She could deal with them.

"Ugh," she mumbled, shaking her head. She gave up on trying to go back to sleep and got up. She got dressed quickly, then spent a few minutes on her overly-done make up. When she was ready, she left the dorm without a word to any of it's occupants. Maybe someone would be in the Common room...

One of Pat's eyes opened as Tal let the sunlight shine through the window, but he didn't make a sound. He watched his friend silently as he got dressed (picking up a muggle pen from the floor with equal silence) and tossing it with just enough force to hit Tal's back. Pat quickly pretended to be asleep again, silently snickering.

Feeling something hit his back, Tallan whipped his head around. His eyes narrowed as he sought out the culprit, who was definately not going to get a nice wake up call. And, besides, the person that threw the...pen? ooookay... the person that threw the pen was already awake. Let's just hope they didn't mind being suspended in the air by their ankles...

His eyes roamed over Derec, who was obviously really asleep. He was snoring away with enough noise to cause the tower to crumble, and his mouth was wide open. Surely he hadn't thrown anything...

Pat! Yes, it was Pat. Tallan grinned mischievioulsy at his sleeping best friend, and pulled his wand out of his pocket. "Levicorpus," he said lazily, flicking his wand at the boy, eager to watch the result of the spell.

Tal burst out laughing as Pat did. He watched as the blood rushed to his friend's face, then moved his wand again, letting Pat fall back onto the bed. "Morning," Tal said cheerfully, smirking. It seemed like they were going to start off every morning this year with some sort of episode...

"Should I throw another shoe at him?" Tallan asked hopefully, nodding his head toward Derec. He walked over to his bed and picked up a shoe that he wasn't planning on wearing today. He raised an eyebrow to Pat, waiting for an answer as he started to aim his shoe at Derec.

"Oh yeah!" Tallan exclaimed, remembering what he had been wondering last night. "Where were you and Nessy?" he had a feeling this is the question Pat was going to answer, but he couldn't help but ask it. He had been curious...

With a sigh, he dropped his shoe on the ground. But if Derec didn't get up before Tallan left for breakfast, he was going to throw his shoe at him.

Tallan just stood there for a second, resembling a fish out of water. His mouth was gaping open, and his eyes were wide. After thinking about it for a little, he smiled. "Really, mate?" he asked, arching his eyebrows. "I'm happy for ya," he grinned. It wasn't as if they'd all never had girlfriends, but Tallan actually didn't mind Nessy. Pat could do worse, he reminded himself.

Tallan chuckled as Pat walked off. He looked over to Derec's sleeping form again, and sighed. This called for drastic measures. Tallan hurried over to the door of the dormitory, then pulled out his wand. Muttering a quick spell, a jet of water shot out of his wand tip, straight for Derec's head. Before anything else could happen, Tallan was out the door and heading down the stairs.
