It was great some people were on vacation and others were spending good quality time with their family. But everyone knew that they wanted nothing more than to go back to Hogwarts. However a few weeks before the beginning of the new term, all of the students that attended Hogwarts recieved a letter that Hogwarts would not be letting students return this year. Nobody knew the reasoning behind this, but all of the students were devestated. All except of a few select few. These few students never recieved that letter. There for they all returned to Hogwarts just like they would have with before. Nobody even had a clue that the rest of the school wouldnt' be coming back. There are no professors or anything, just these few students. They are the only ones. Who sent them there and why. Was this just a mistake and they didn't recieve their letter or was this intentional. Ok this RP is made ups only. And please can we have an even number of girls and guys. So I'm back with a bio, I had to change the eye color first:) Nabs put up a tutorial because I wanted to know how to do it, and I like changing the eye color:) Anyways, here's my bio! Well since I think just about everyone has a bio, I think that we can go ahead and start!!! Shawn walked into the school Anya. The two had been best friends ever since they were tiny little things, and that surely hadn't changed since they had arrived at Hogwarts. There weren't that many people around and he couldn't help but wonder was was going on. He walked into the Great Hall. There he had been expecting tons of people talking and catching up on what they had missed from over the summer. He expected to look up and see the staff table somewhat full, but the room was basically empty. Anya followed Shawn into the room. She looked at the expression on his face and suddenly realized why he looked in shock. There wasn't anyone in there. Where were all of the returning students and the excited and scared little first years. She looked up to him. "What is merlin's beard is going on?" She asked with a hint of surprise in her voice. Clearly somethign was not right. Shawn looked down at Anya seeing as how he was quite taller than her. "Where is everyone?" He asked just as surprised as she was. He then turned around. They were the only two in the room. Soon the other students who had been in the carriages with them would hopefully walk in. Maybe one of them would know what was going on. |
Brent walked excitedly into the Great Hall, ready to catch up with all of his friends. He hadn't done anything all summer, and he was in for some excitement. He NEEDED excitement, that was for sure. His carefree whistling came to an abrupt end when he threw open one of the doors into the Hall. As far as he could see there were all of...TWO people there. He ran over to them, not caring who they were. "Where IS everyone?" he demanded. His tone was polite, but his eyes were searching and his blood was rushing with adrenaline. |
Nicole walked into the Great Hall happily and she saw Brent, Anya and Shawn, "hey guys." She said smiling when she noticed the empty Great Hall. "Where is everyone?" She asked in a confused tone. Victor walked into the Great Hall behind Nicole and he too looked around in a slightly confused expression, he gazed at the three wondering where everyone was. |
Torin walked slowly into the castle after having shared a carriage with his friend Tristan. He thought it somewhat strange that they were the only two in the carriage and also in their compartment on the train, but didn't think much about it until he stepped into the Great Hall. There was literally no one there except a handful of other students that he barely knew other than the fact that they were 7th years like him. It just wasn't possible that they were just the first ones inside, something really strange was going on. Even the staff table was empty - which was actually pretty cool. Torin stood, bemused, in the doorway for a few moments, contemplating what to do, when he decided he should probably sit down. He made his way towards the Slytherin table and sat, being the only one there. Hopefully they'd get some answers soon. Maybe this was just some collossal practical joke. |
Kylie had rushed ahead of her brother, and made her way to the Great Hall, she'd just sat with him and a couple of friends on the way here and was really excited to get back to school. As she neared the doors she sensed her brother coming up behind her but ignored him for now. Pushing open the doors she saw some of her friends, but the room seemed empty. Sure the other students would have arrived by now. Where was everyone? Even the teachers were missing. Reaching her friends she asked, "Any idea where everyone is?" Keegan had to run to catch up to his twin sister, and also had to stick his arm out to prevent the door from closing in his face. She really must of been in a hurry, normally she waited for him even though they were siblings. He followed her over to their friends observing the room as he went. He didn't really register what was wrong until he heard Kylie's question. It mirrored his thoughts exactly. "Where is everyone,?" he repeated. |
Brent watched silently as the others approached, and he settled onto one of the benches at the Gryffindor table, sitting sideways on the bench and stetching his legs out infront of him. When he saw Kylie his heart gave a weird little THUMP thing in his chest...but he ignored that. "That's what I'd like to know," he said, looking somewhere between Kylie and Keegan. |
Kylie didn't even bother going over to her table, she'd sit here till the other students showed up. She lowered herself onto the bench beside Brent, ignoring the flutter in her stomach. For the first time she glanced down at the table finding it empty. "The plates are missing too, what's going on here?" Keegan sat down on the other side of the bench, hoping that Anya would take a seat beside him. He didn't understand what was going on here. But he was just to hungry to really comprehend it at the moment. He turned his head in Kylie's direction when she mentioned the plates. His stomach gave a loud grumble which saved him from saying what he thought. |
Brent gave a "Humph" noise when Kylie sat down by him and mentioned food. "Hmm...that's odd. House-elves are taking a break?" he suggested. Obviously, more than house-elves were taking a day off. "I'm hungry," he said randomly. His stomache gave a rumble, backing up his words. |
"No idea really," she said to him before turning to the others and giving them a questioning look as if to say, 'what do you think's going on.' She turned back to look at him, and then decided she'd better keep her eyes elsewhere, but it was a good way to keep her mind off her hunger though it made her stomach flutter. |
Growing bored of sitting alone, Torin decided to saunter over to the small group of students. It didn't look like anyone would be joining him at his table any time soon and he craved attention. Lowering himself onto a bench, he casually leaned his elbows against the table. "You guys figure out any answers yet?" he asked the group at large as he stretched out his legs in front of him. But, by the expressions on their faces, he guessed they knew about as much as he did. Torin's eyes flickered to the doorway, wondering if Rebekah, the girl he dated off and on last spring would show up. He didn't see her on the train or all summer for that matter, having vacationed most of the holidays. That was really the only downfall he could see about being one of the few students to show up so far - missing his friends, that and the fact that he was getting quite hungry. The missing professors he could definitely get used to, a thought which caused a chuckle to escape his lips. |
Keegan looked over at the guy that had sat down with their group. He answered his question simply, "I really don't know, I guess we're just waiting to see what happens." He paused for a minute before a thought occured to him. "I don't think I've ever met you before. I'm Keegan Parker." |
Shawn walked over to the group of people. "I don't know surely everyone else is here somewhere" He said looking around. It just couldn't possibly be that they were here all alone could it. He just couldnt' imagine that there wasn't anyone else at the school. He looked around seeing who all was there, some of the people he sort of knew but not really great friends with. What was going on. Anya looked around the Hall at all of the confusion that was going on. Did anyone have a clue what was happening. Luckily she noticed that the plates did turn up on only one of the tables. Where the elves not expecting as many people? What was going on? She looked around for a familier face and noticed Keegan. "Hey you" She said with a smile, "Do you have any clue where the rest of the school is?" She asked him. |
ooc. I'm off to bed Keegan smiled at Anya still hoping she'd sit down beside him before someone else took the seat, that is if anyone else came. "I was just wondering that myself, actually," he said to her with a confused smile. "It's weird being in here, with just the group of us, and no one else around," he said. Kind of intriguing though too, he thought. |
Jack walked inside the castle, amazed at all of the people not here. He looked around for some familiar faces, but couldn't find anyone. "Where is everyone?" he asked, scratching his head out of confusion. |
Anya smiled at Keegan, "I know and what a random group of people, I mean it seems like no one really knows too many people here." She commented. It was true none of them really knew each other than much. She only was close to a few of the people. Her and Keegan had always been pretty good friends. "Do you mind if I have a seat?" She aske him with a sweet smile. She took one more look around the room. What was going on, she just couldn't wrap her mind around it. Shawn looked as the door opened once more. He hoped that it would be the rest of the school but instead it was someone that he didnt' really know. He recognized him from around the school but didn't know him. "Thats what we are all wondering." He told him as the guy asked where everyone was. |
Jack looked at the boy that was talking to him. Huh, this was strange. He sat down near him. "I'm Jack Lane, by the way," he said, looking around at everyone's faces. |
Torin nodded vaguely in the direction of Keegan as he answered, then, as he introduced himself, figured he should do the same. "Good to meet you Keegan. I'm Torin Ashford," he said, although he was pretty certain that most knew his name even if they didn't really know him well. As his stomach growled in protest to lack of food, he briefly thought of sneaking into the kitchens to see what he could find. He'd done it enough times the previous few years that it had become second nature. Those thoughts were quickly swept away as he noticed plates appear - but at only one table? Strange. Anyway, that meant food was coming soon. The seventh year Slytherin looked up as another guy joined their little group and shrugged in agreement as someone answered his question. That's what they were all wondering. "Torin Ashford," he repeated to Jack as he sat down and introduced himself as well. |
Bella waltzed into the Great Hall, hoping to see the usual buzz of excitement, especially since this was her last year. She flung open the hall doors and stopped. There were only a small group of students there. They looked around her age, but she had never really seen them before. Instead of waltzing, she now shuffled over to their group. She said, almost muttered, timidly, "Uhm.... hi? I'm Bella. Does anyone know what's going on?" |
"I'm Nicole," She said smiling at Torin and Jack. "This is Victor." She said introducing her friend and smiled. "Hey." Victor said still wondering what was going on, he really had no idea at the moment. |
Jack smiled at everyone introducing themselves. He shook his head when Bella asked what was going on, he had no clue. "I don't know what's happening, but I'm hungry," he said to no one in peticular. |
Bella heard the sound of a familiar voice. "Victor!" She almost shouted. Finally, someone she knew. She had him in her advanced classes for a few years and had chatted with him sometimes in the Ravenclaw Common Room. |
Victor spun around and saw Bella, "hey Bella." He said grinning at his fellow Ravenclaw. "I'm glad your here." He said smiling at the fact there was someone he knew asides from Nicole. |
"Same to you," She replied, finally relazing her facial muscles and grinning back at him. "So, do you or you friend here *gestured to Nicole* have any idea of what the bloody hell is going on?" |
"No idea Bella, I don't think anyone knows." He said with a shrug, "oh. This is Nicole by the way." He said to her and looked at Nicole. "Hey Bella. Nice to meet you." She said with a grin Victor having talked about Bella before. |
Hanz walked towards the Great Hall with Deedee trotting behind him singing a song that annoyed him so much. "Shut up Adrianna." He said glancing back at her he hurried to enter the Great Hall to block her voice. Deedee grinned at her twin's back, she liked annoying him. "Okay Frankie." She said and started singing at the top of her voice, she stopped abruptly as she entered the Great Hall and bumped into Hanz. She was just about to ask him what was wrong when she looked up at the Great Hall and noticed that it was empty except for a little group. She pulled her brother's hand and walked towards them. "So everyone except us forgot to wake up this mornin' right ?" She asked the group. She noticed some of her friends. " Hey Bella, Nikki." She greeted them smiling then she spotted Jack and stood beside him. "Hey Jack." She grinned. Hanz followed Deedee to the group, " What happened?" He asked them, before he noticed Nicole and walked towards her. "Hey." He grinned at her and took her hand. |
"Hanz." She said happily and hugged him, "we have no idea. No one does." She said with a sigh, "we're all just here and no one else is." She said smiling at him, "I'm really glad you're here though." |
He hugged her back, " That's wierd." He said looking around him before turning back to Nicole and kissing her cheek softly. Deedee rolled her eyes at her brother, she never imagined Hanz with a girlfriend but here was the proof infront of her eyes. |
"I know, I wonder where everyone else is." She said looking around the hall before grinning back at Hanz, "want to sit down?" She asked him and smiled at Deedee. |
Sapphire walked into the room and was greeted with a shock, not only was Victor there along with a few other people, but they were the only people in the room. She shook her long black hair out nervously as she walked toward Victor with a smile on her face. " What is going on?" She asked softly as she looked around the room. " Where is everyone?" A puzzled look crossed her face as she looked at the empty great hall. |
Victor shrugged, "that's what we're all wondering, there seems to be no one else her." He said grinning as Sapphire, even though this situation was very wierd he hadb't seen her in ages. |
Sapphire looked around at the nearly empty hall. Only a few kids were there milling around, nothing at all like the usual hundreds that usually filled the hall with laughter and merriment. She sighed and ran a hand through her black hair anxiously. " Maybe we missed the memo?" She wondered as she looked back up at Victor with a sigh.."How have you been? It's been so long since I have seen you." She said softly, as she smiled a bit. |
Talk about late sleeper,she never slept as long as this.Emma looked around,at the empty dorm.She frowned."Shhhooottt!"she shouted as she sprung out of bed and ran to her bedroom."Im Late!"she yelled running around.She got dressed within 6.25 minutes and she was running down to the hall,when she came across everyone."Woww.."she said,stopping dead in her tracks.Her chest was rising and falling heavely.She looked at the group."Whats going on?"she asked,panting."Where is everyone..?"she asked,frowning,putting her hands on her waist trying to catch her breath back |
Shawn looked up from where he was sitting to see someone else come in. BUt this time he actually did recognize her. He got up and walked over to the girl. "Hey Emma" He said to her with a warm smile. "actually we are all wondering the same thing" he told her. No one had figured out yet why there wasn't anyone around. "We came in for the feast and there was no one here." He told her. |

Brent sat quietly while he listened to the others around him talk. He stared firmly around him, trying to keep his gaze away from Kylie, to who he always found himself looking at. "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm hungry. I think that if everyone doesn't come down here soon, the kitchen might be the only place we're gonna get food." his voice was quiet, and he wasn't sure who might've heard him. |

Keegan was glad there was at least one person here that he knew well other than his sister. Looking at Anya he said, "Not at all," motioning to the deat beside him with his hand. He was unable to keep his smile to himself. "Where do you figure everyone got to?" he asked her, he was begining to feel like he was repeating himself because everyone was asking the same question. "It's nice to meet you Torin, even if it is in weird cicumstances," he said to the guy he'd just met. Kylie silently agreed with Brent, she wouldn't mind going to the kitchens, it would give her a chance to explore the castle and see what was going on. "You know, that wouldn't be such a bad idea, Brent, it would give us a chance to see what is going on here," she said to him, with a mischivious smile. She'd love the chance to explore when the castle was empty. "Wanna come?" she asked him, grinning at him. |
Heh. Hehheh. Did Kylie just invite him to go on a walk with her? YES! He had to control his muscles extra carefully so as to not jump up as soon as she offered. Standing up slowly - casually - he nodded and returned a mischeivious grin. "I'd love to." he answered, offering a hand to help her up...without thinking about what the consiquences might be. |
Kylie accepted his hand and pulled herself up off the bench, with his help, doing the best to ignore the strength of his hand, and the warmth. "Do you want to go to the kitchen first?" she asked, after all she was hungry, but she wanted to know what was going on, almost as bad as she wanted to eat. |
Brent thought for a moment after helping Kylie up...and then she asked him a question, and he thought about that too. "I'm not sure. I guess since I'm a guy, it's in my nature to be hungry, right? But I kinda want to go explore the castle...since no one's here...or something." his voice got quieter, and he was wondering if she'd think he was weird for wanting to explore. |
Patience came rushing into the Hall out of breath clutching a very tiny black cat. The little bugger took off the moment the train came into the station and she had spent the better part of the last 30 minutes trying to find him. The smile and apology she had ready died on her lips at the sight before her. There were only a small group of students gathered in the Hall. She glanced around and recognized some faces. She took two steps toward the Ravenclaw table and stopped. "What? What going on?" She stammered. Tristan sauntered into the Hall slightly bemused. His usual smirk of indifferance plastered on his face. After walking into the Entrance Hall he decided to take a quick detour, as the absence of all the students had puzzled him. After a perliminary search he didn't fina anyone, which was odd. Shrugging, he walked to the Slytherin table and sat down in the table top with his feet resting on the bench. He nodded to his friend Torin and turned to face everyone else. Hunching over with his elbows on his knees, Tristan watched and listened to what his fellow students were saying. |
"Hey Patience," Victor greeted as the Ravenclaw came in the Entrance Hall. "No one knows what's going on, we're just here and no one else is." He informed her with a shrug. |
Patience slowly walked over and ploped down next to Victor, she didn't even know which table she was at. She looked up at him, the tiny kitten squirming in her arms. "We are the only ones here? Like no teachers or anything?" To confirm her words the staff table was ominously empty. She set down Tank and he immediately took off bounding around the room. "So...what are we gonna do?" |
"Really... I have no idea." He said with a sigh, he looked around the empty looking hall. This really didn't make any sense at all, to him anyway. |
Torin nodded to Keegan and then his ears perked up at the sound of someone else mentioning the kitchens. He chuckled to himself, thinking someone must have been reading his mind as he was just thinking that himself. He was about to offer to go as well when a girl he didn't know beat him to it. As he carefully watched the interaction between the two, Torin realized there must be something between them and decided not to interrupt. In fact, he noticed as he looked around at the small crowd gathered there, most of the girls seemed to be involved with another guy already there. Well, that would get boring really fast. Growing slightly impatient at the lack of activity and lack of attention, his eyes swept upward towards the door once more as a pretty girl with a cat entered. Of course she looked just as bemused as the rest of them. He let his eyes linger on her for a moment as she greeted a friend and then his attention was diverted as Tristan walked in. It was about time. He returned his casual nod and was about to say something smart like 'did some pretty girl hold you up' when he remembered that there was nearly no one there. Instead he settled for, "Hey... where you been?" And then, realizing that the unnamed girl that he had just noticed walked in right before Tristan, he added as he inclined his towards the girl, "Friend of yours?" |
Kylie laughed quietly as she listened to Brent. "I'm up for exploring too," she told him quietly. Kylie turned to her brother and asked him, "Keegan, do you want to come too?" she paused for a minute before adding, "does anyone else want to come? We're going to the kitchens first." She wasn't planning on inviting any one else, but she wasn't sure she could trust herself. She'd go exploring after she made it to the kitchens. Keegan nodded at his sister and got up from the bench. "Do you want to come too Anya?" he asked her, offering her a hand up. One thing he liked about his sister, is that they were so simliar that they hardly ever fought, so tagging along with her for awhile wouldn't, or shouldn't, bug her. |
Anya listened to Brent and Kylie talk about how they were going to go exploring around the school. She was glad when Keegan asked if she wanted to come along too. "Sure, sounds good" She said to him with a smile. She took his hand a stood up. Anya had always thought of her a Keegan as pretty good friends, it was now that she was starting to wonder what it would be like if they were ever more than that. |
Emma looked watched as no-one answered her but Shawn.She smiled alittle as he got up to meet her.Looks like no-one knew what was going on.This was totally weird.Something was totally weird."Oh.."she said,smiling at Shawn and nodded."Well thats weird.."she said,frowning a little."Hey guys.."she said,over Shawn.She looked back at Shawn and smiled. |
Kylee rushed into the Great Hall a little flustered and obviously running late. If only her trunk hadn't been stuck in the luggage rack. She quickly sat down at the Gryffindor table, not noticing until that moment that there were only a handful of students in the hall. Thankfully, though, she spotted Joshua. She slid over next to him. Where is everybody? she asked. |
Tristan nodded his head as someone got the idea to head down to the kitchens. Best idea he'd heard yet. Scanning everyone present the only person he knew really well was Torin as it seemed they were the only two Slytherin's present. Smirking, he turned and looked at his friend as his voice sounded beside him. "Went to see if the castle rest of the castle was just as empty. Seems those here are the only one's here." He saw the look Torin gave the girl that had walked in just before him, the one with the cat. He smiled slightly and looked at his friend again. "Ravenclaw. Girl lost her cat, was romping around the dining car. Think her names Patience if memory serves. Why?" He shot Torin a critical look. "You like what you see?" He said it just loud enough for the other slytherin to hear. Patience looked at Victor and shrugged. She looked around for a second to make sure Tank was still in the Hall and then returned her attention to her friend. "You going to the kitchens as well?" Her stomach grumbled at the thought of food. Suddenly she felt someone watching her. Looking behind her she saw two slytherin guys and one was looking at her. She smiled and blushed. He was rather good looking, but she couldn't remember ever meeting him. Turning away quickly before she could blush a deeper shade of red she took a deep breath to steady herself. Odd reaction. Her tiny black cat went bounding around the Hall weaving between people feet. |
"Yeah I'll go," Victor said smiling at Patience, he then saw her blush and grinned. "Are you coming to?" He asked containing his laughter as he looked at the two slytherins from the corner of his eyes. |
Brent grinned triumphantly when Kylie agreed to come...but then she invited more people. His smile faltered, but he quickly stuck in it place. "Where to first?" he asked, looked curiously around the deserted room. |
Patience gasped and hit Victor in the arm. She gave him an exasperated look. Leave it to a guy to be that brazen. Feeling utterly embarrased she made a show of locating her precocious kitten. Why did she have to be such a spazz when it comes to guys? |
Victor couldn't help but let a small laugh escape his lips, "aww... Sorry Patience." He said and he actually did look sorry, "by the way your kitten is down there." He said pointing a little bt down the hall where Patience's kitten was. |
She gave Victor another look and then got up. Patience sauntered down the hall to where Tank was playing under the Hufflepuff table, which coincidently put her closer to the Slytherin table. Keeping her eyes averted for that direction she bent down to look underneath the table. Tank gave a happy meow, and stared at her with wide green eyes. She tried to make a grab for him but he twisted out of her reach and then bounded back within reach. The little bugger thought it was a game. Sighing, she got down on her hands and knees and made another reach for the kitten. She really hoped no one was watching. Afterall it must look pretty weird. She was on the floor, trying to get under a table to get an obnoxious kitten. Shaking her head Patience made another reach for the blasted kitten. |
Victor sat down watching his friend who was coincidentally very close to the Slytherin boys. He thought he would just leave her unless she asked for his help, instead he turned back to Sapphire with a smile. |
