Several months have passed since the fateful events at the Battle of Hogwarts, and all seems well. There is still a bit of turmoil in the Wizarding World as people try to rebuild their lives after years of living in war, but everyone is moving forward on the road to peace. Things are starting to look up.
The students of Hogwarts began their new term right on schedule with a new Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall. After the chaos and conflict of the previous term, this one seems quite peaceful and normal – or as normal as a magic school can be. The famous Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, and Hermione Granger have all returned to Hogwarts for their seventh year, and after the chaotic events that occurred merely months ago, turning homework in on time seems like a small challenge to the three girls. But things never do seem to go as planned. What started as a simple project assignment for Charms class turned into something young Ginny Weasley never expected.
Ginny remembered her best friend Hermione Granger mentioning how she’d had to use a Time-Turner in her third year at Hogwarts. This gave Ginny an idea – was it possible to charm a Time-Turner to go by days instead of hours? She was willing to find out. With the permission of Headmistress McGonagall and the Ministry of Magic, Ginny was granted a Time-Turner for only the amount of time it took to do her project and receive her grade. Hermione Granger, having gotten her project done for the Christmas holidays, and Luna Lovegood, who had most of her own project done, decided to lend their friend a hand. Even Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Draco Malfoy (who Harry and his friends had been trying to befriend ever since the end of the war, which was only going slightly better than either side expected) offered a little help ever now and then, for it was quite a challenging project. “So long as Ginny does most of the work it’s not really cheating,” Hermione reasoned.
One day, however, when things seemed to be going well enough to test the Time-Turner to see if the charms had worked, something, somehow, went terribly wrong. Just as Harry and Ron - who had volunteered to be the testers – just as they put the Time-Turner’s string around their necks, the Time-Turner went berserk, flipping madly out of control. Before any of them realized what was happening, all seven of them disappeared.

Two hundred years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, trouble begins brewing yet again in the Wizarding World. A new group of Dark Wizards and Witches that had secretly come to power in the Ministry of Magic is now making themselves and their goals known – that Muggle-borns and Half-bloods have tolerated the hate from Purebloods for far too long and are now going to fight back with a vengeance; just as in the past Purebloods have believed they had the right to rule over Muggle-borns and Half-bloods, so too do these new Dark Wizards and Witches believe in a supreme rule but with the Muggle-borns and Half-bloods ruling over the Purebloods. They have called themselves “The Dementor’s Shroud,” having gained support from many dark creatures like the Dementors. With people like these in power, things aren’t looking great for the Purebloods.
However, Purebloods aren’t going down without a fight, and so they get together and form a resistance group known as “The Patronus Opposition.”After much discussion and strategy organization, The Patronus Opposition sets off for the Ministry of Magic to take on The Dementor’s Shroud without any idea how badly this battle will turn out.
The powers of The Dementor’s Shroud rival that of Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters, even of Voldemort himself. The members of The Dementor’s Shroud have delved themselves completely into the powerful Dark Arts; all their Higher-Ups, and even some of their other members, have at least one horcrux and all of them are ruthless, ambitious, and seemingly have little to nothing of a conscience. But all this is unknown to The Patronus Opposition until after the battle.
To be fair, The Patronus Opposition held their own against The Dementor’s Shroud for quite some time, forcing the battle to last longer than either side expected. The battle raged a full 24 hours before The Patronus Opposition realized that they were truly losing this battle. While both sides suffered casualties, The Patronus Opposition had lost far more people than the other side. Finally they were forced to flee, taking as many of their dead as they could to give the brave fighters a proper burial.
The Ministry building was destroyed, but that was not a problem; buildings could be rebuilt, and there were far more important things to think about. A new Era had begun with the Muggle-borns and Half-bloods in full power over the Purebloods.
The Patronus Opposition went underground with its supporters and was silent for the next seven years. All hope seemed lost. There was no Harry Potter to save the world this time. He and his friends were long since dead and existed now as children’s stories.
So it was incredibly strange when one day, seven years after the failed battle at the Ministry of Magic, a group of seven teenagers randomly showed up at The Patronus Opposition’s headquarters. How did they know the headquarters’ location? Even stranger was that these teenagers seemed quite familiar to them, as one might feel when rereading a long-forgotten story you read as a child.
“Who are you?” demanded one of the leaders.
The one who appeared to be the leader of the teenagers’ group stepped forward. “My name’s Harry Potter, sir.”

"There's nothing we can do about it, Hermione. We've lost the Time-Turner," Harry replied, answering Cara's question as well. "But we'll figure something out." Somehow.
He followed Edmond with Luna, quite curious to find out what this "Dementor's Shroud" was. Was this another group of Dark Wizards like the Death Eaters? It certainly sounded like it.
Edmond led them quietly to their large meeting room, pulling out his wand and conjuring up a table large enough to sit all of them as well as all the chairs they needed. He sat down at the head of the table, waiting for everyone to enter and get settled into the room.

"Silence, Miss Callum," Colin commanded, though it was a gentle but firm command. (He'd always thought it odd that Whitney's last name was Callum when there was another member with said name as his first. Quite odd, really.) He knew, however, how prejudiced Whitney was towards even the Purebloods on their side, and while he understood why, he still felt she was too blinded by her own prejudice at times. But he also knew how uncooperative Blaise was, and he knew the young man had thoughts of doing things on his own. "I would like Mister Dupont or Miss Cox to explain why Mister Black has left and how long he plans to be gone." While waiting for a response, he moved to sit at the head of the table, watching the trio.

She waved her wand and a tray of butter bears appeared alined on the table neatly.She glanced at Harry."So why exactly are you here?"she asked him,not really knowing why they were here.
Dakota sat down in the large room sitting by Harry and Ginny . "I will have a water please."Dakota said , smiling at Cara . "They are here because something went wrong in their time turner , I believe."she said , with a smile on her face . Dakota was rarely seen without a smile . "Let's just say we are the purebloods and the dEmentor's Shourd are the mud. muggle borns and half bloods . We aren't the ones killing people this time ." Dakota said , winking in Harry and Ron's direction .

Luna took a seat, nodding at Cara's offering of drink. "Do you happen to have any nargle water? I hope by this era, wizard kind has learned how to purify the toxins in it, yes?" She smoothed out the creases of her cotton skirt and crossed her legs, deep in thought about what Dakota had just said. It seemed so utterly paradoxical, and almost even comical. Was it right to be trusting these people?

Edmond simply shrugged at Cara's question as to any ideas he had. He was trying to find a way to get these kids back to where they belonged - the past and in the stories told in the present - but the only known place that held Time-Turners was the Ministry of Magic. And that was controlled by the Dementor's Shroud at the moment.
It also occurred to him that these could be an answered prayer; the appearance of the Harry Potter and his friends could renew hope and courage in the Opposition's members. And perhaps with their help they could overthrow the Shroud and return the Wizarding World back to the peace it desparately needed.
"This isn't something to talk about lightly, Dakota," he scolded her lightly, watching as she winked at Harry and Ron. He knew she was excited to meet her famous relatives, but she needed to keep her head. Then, to Luna, he politely answered, "I'm afraid we do not, Miss Lovegood. Would regular water suffice?"

Colin listened patiently as Jordan explained the situation and remained silent for several long seconds after she was done, quietly pondering what she'd said. Indeed, young Blaise Black was showing signs of deserting, and though he had not done so yet, Colin knew the time was drawing near when he would. The time for many things was drawing near, he could feel it. Things were changing in the world, but whether for better or for worse, Colin knew not.
Finally, he turned to Callum. "Give Mister Black a full update on the meeting when he returns. I believe he is still with us for now, but do keep an eye on him. Now, if there are no further interruptions, let's begin the meeting."
Dakota rolled her eyes at Edmond , of course she said the wrong thing . Dakota felt like she never pleases Edmond at all , no matter what she does. "Well , I just told him .It's not like you were going to tell them."Dakota said , quietly .

Jordan nodded slightly and stood up before returning to the shadows to listen to her master from there. She wished he would order the death of Blaise, but she guessed it was because he still had some use. However, with his behavior, she knew that he needed to get rid of soon.
"I am going to tell them - that's why we're here. But at the moment I am waiting for them to get settled in here; you know, so we can discuss it privately," Edmond told her, slightly raising an eyebrow. Had she paid attention to him at all? Probably not. She seemed too distracted by Harry Potter and his friends. See, this was exactly why he didn't want these famous kids here - they were far too distracting. "Don't be so sidetracked, Dakota. That will cost you someday. We need to focus on the task at hand, and tell our visitors what is going on. Perhaps they could be of some use while they're here. If not, we will have no problem with finding a way to send them back." She didn't mean to sound so harsh but this was all very annoying. Everyone was acting starstruck over the people from the past and Luxe knew they didn't need to be worried with such at that time.

Harry glanced back at Ginny, not quite sharing her feelings. He was quite curious to know what these people were talking about, and really, how many people got the chance to know about something like this long before it actually happened? He wanted to help these people if he could, even though some of them clearly wanted him gone.
Edmond offered Luxe a small, grateful smile for her support - she seemed to be the only one who did lately - then pulled out his wand and used it to shut the door to the room, casting Muffliato so that no one could eavesdrop on their conversation. They could speak freely without worrying about the other members hearing. He also conjured up a glass of water for Luna then set his wand down on the table in front of him, ignoring Dakota's comment. There was no need to continue their petty argument.
"Now that we can talk privately," he began, "I suppose I'll begin. About seven years ago - although I know this was growing long before then - an organization calling themselves 'The Dementor's Shroud' arose to power in the Ministry of Magic with a single goal - to put the Half-bloods and Muggle-borns in power over the Purebloods. Sound familiar?
"Their leader is a Half-blood named Colin Dursley-" Seeing the surprise register on Harry's face, Edmond nodded. "Yes, Mr. Potter, he is a descendant of your cousin, Dudley Dursley. We can discuss this later. Moving on - when the Dementor's Shroud made themselves and their goals known, many Purebloods, including myself and most of us here, got together to form a resistance group, and after a few days' planning, we rushed to the Minstry of Magic to take down the Shroud.
"Looking back on it now, I believe that we were perhaps too hasty in our attack, but we didn't know then just how strong the Shroud's members were. Suffice it to say, we lost terribly, and the Shroud kept their control of the Ministry. We went into hiding to regroup and bide our time until we saw the proper time to retaliate. But perhaps...Perhaps now that time has come now that you're here." He paused, watching them all, particularly Dakota. He really did not want to say that because he didn't believe it, but maybe it would hush Dakota up for awhile until he got the chance to discuss all this privately with someone - preferrably Luxe and/or Cara, since they were some of the more reasonable ones.

Luxe returned Edmund's smile, keeping her eyes locked on him as he spoke. Inside, her head was screaming fear. As he told the story, she became more worried. Things were getting worse. But on the outside, she kept her cool, remaining composed. Well, maybe some use could come from the Potter kids after all. She wanted everything to be right again, for light to triumph over dark.
She liked how Edmund was brave and had taken control of their group. She felt more safe with someone as strong as him around. Exhaling, her eyes flickered over to the other group as she examined each person carefully, sizing them in to see if they were useful. Eh, things didn't look so good. But they had defeated Voldemort in their time, perhaps they could help with the Shroud.
Luxe moved her chair so she was sitting next to Edmund. If he was going to be brave, so was she. They could both lead. Together. Besides Edmund, she was the only other one brave enough, strong enough, smart enough. She and Edmund balanced each other out that way. "So," Luxe said, looking to Harry, "Are you going to help us or not?"
Simple, get to the point. If they were going to stay and help then great. If they weren't, well, she'd help to send them on their way.

Dear old dad, ahead of his time." She murmured, her icy blue gaze glazing over all members of her time-travelling group. She locked her gaze on Harry. "What about it, Harry?" Luna asked in her typical tone, one full of cheer and possessing a dreamlike quality. She had asked him the question as simply as if she had asked him to go on a walk around the black lake with her.

Well that could be a task, Blaise wasn't going to take to kindly to be 'babysat', but Callum had been commanded to. And he had every intention of fulfilling that duty to the best of his abilites, even more so than that. Failing was not an option.

He really did not want to say that because he didn't believe it, but maybe it would hush Dakota up for awhile until he got the chance to discuss all this privately with someone - preferrably Luxe and/or Cara, since they were some of the more reasonable ones.
Hermione listened intentively to Edmund as he spoke, and shook her head slightly near the end. "So it's another war having broken out, only this time, muggle borns are taking over?" Well, that was certainly a change! In HER time, she'd been on the bottom of the chain. But now muggleborns were rising, and pure bloods were cowering. Were she anyone like Draco Malfoy, the idea would've excited her. But Hermione felt sick.
More families would lose loved ones because of a war, she shook her head slightly, and looked towards Ron who was beside her, she wanted to ask Harry, but he was too far away from herself. So Ron was the next best person. "How are we to know they aren't just saying they are the good guys though?"

Simple, get to the point. If they were going to stay and help then great. If they weren't, well, she'd help to send them on their way.

How…ironic. The Half-bloods and Muggle-borns were the ones trying to dominate now? Harry never would have expected that. It was usually the Purebloods who were prejudiced and self-righteous – not all Purebloods, of course, as the Weasleys were obvious proof that a Pureblood family could be very warm and accepting.
Harry weighed Edmond's explanation in his mind for several seconds before he nodded. "Yeah," he said, "we'll help you. What do you want us to do?" Impulsive decision? Yes, very much. Wise? Well, he didn't know. But they'd find out, wouldn't they?
Ron looked to Hermione, shrugged uncertainly at her question. “Beats me,” he replied, glancing at Harry when he agreed to help. He hadn’t thought about it before, but now that Hermione brought it up, how could they know these people were telling the truth? What if they were the ones desiring domination? How were they to know?
Why not ask?
“How do we know you’re telling the truth?” he asked, loud enough for those two who appeared to be the leaders – Edmond and Luxe – to hear.

Luna was surprised by Ron's sudden demand for proof, but she smiled at his gall. It was about time that he started helping his best friend to find a way to get out of the sticky situation. "Yes, Ronald is right." She turned her wide, ocean-blue eyes on Edmond once more. "We gave you proof. It would only be fair to return the favor."
