Several months have passed since the fateful events at the Battle of Hogwarts, and all seems well. There is still a bit of turmoil in the Wizarding World as people try to rebuild their lives after years of living in war, but everyone is moving forward on the road to peace. Things are starting to look up.
The students of Hogwarts began their new term right on schedule with a new Headmistress, Minerva McGonagall. After the chaos and conflict of the previous term, this one seems quite peaceful and normal – or as normal as a magic school can be. The famous Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, and Hermione Granger have all returned to Hogwarts for their seventh year, and after the chaotic events that occurred merely months ago, turning homework in on time seems like a small challenge to the three girls. But things never do seem to go as planned. What started as a simple project assignment for Charms class turned into something young Ginny Weasley never expected.
Ginny remembered her best friend Hermione Granger mentioning how she’d had to use a Time-Turner in her third year at Hogwarts. This gave Ginny an idea – was it possible to charm a Time-Turner to go by days instead of hours? She was willing to find out. With the permission of Headmistress McGonagall and the Ministry of Magic, Ginny was granted a Time-Turner for only the amount of time it took to do her project and receive her grade. Hermione Granger, having gotten her project done for the Christmas holidays, and Luna Lovegood, who had most of her own project done, decided to lend their friend a hand. Even Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Draco Malfoy (who Harry and his friends had been trying to befriend ever since the end of the war, which was only going slightly better than either side expected) offered a little help ever now and then, for it was quite a challenging project. “So long as Ginny does most of the work it’s not really cheating,” Hermione reasoned.
One day, however, when things seemed to be going well enough to test the Time-Turner to see if the charms had worked, something, somehow, went terribly wrong. Just as Harry and Ron - who had volunteered to be the testers – just as they put the Time-Turner’s string around their necks, the Time-Turner went berserk, flipping madly out of control. Before any of them realized what was happening, all seven of them disappeared.

Two hundred years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, trouble begins brewing yet again in the Wizarding World. A new group of Dark Wizards and Witches that had secretly come to power in the Ministry of Magic is now making themselves and their goals known – that Muggle-borns and Half-bloods have tolerated the hate from Purebloods for far too long and are now going to fight back with a vengeance; just as in the past Purebloods have believed they had the right to rule over Muggle-borns and Half-bloods, so too do these new Dark Wizards and Witches believe in a supreme rule but with the Muggle-borns and Half-bloods ruling over the Purebloods. They have called themselves “The Dementor’s Shroud,” having gained support from many dark creatures like the Dementors. With people like these in power, things aren’t looking great for the Purebloods.
However, Purebloods aren’t going down without a fight, and so they get together and form a resistance group known as “The Patronus Opposition.”After much discussion and strategy organization, The Patronus Opposition sets off for the Ministry of Magic to take on The Dementor’s Shroud without any idea how badly this battle will turn out.
The powers of The Dementor’s Shroud rival that of Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters, even of Voldemort himself. The members of The Dementor’s Shroud have delved themselves completely into the powerful Dark Arts; all their Higher-Ups, and even some of their other members, have at least one horcrux and all of them are ruthless, ambitious, and seemingly have little to nothing of a conscience. But all this is unknown to The Patronus Opposition until after the battle.
To be fair, The Patronus Opposition held their own against The Dementor’s Shroud for quite some time, forcing the battle to last longer than either side expected. The battle raged a full 24 hours before The Patronus Opposition realized that they were truly losing this battle. While both sides suffered casualties, The Patronus Opposition had lost far more people than the other side. Finally they were forced to flee, taking as many of their dead as they could to give the brave fighters a proper burial.
The Ministry building was destroyed, but that was not a problem; buildings could be rebuilt, and there were far more important things to think about. A new Era had begun with the Muggle-borns and Half-bloods in full power over the Purebloods.
The Patronus Opposition went underground with its supporters and was silent for the next seven years. All hope seemed lost. There was no Harry Potter to save the world this time. He and his friends were long since dead and existed now as children’s stories.
So it was incredibly strange when one day, seven years after the failed battle at the Ministry of Magic, a group of seven teenagers randomly showed up at The Patronus Opposition’s headquarters. How did they know the headquarters’ location? Even stranger was that these teenagers seemed quite familiar to them, as one might feel when rereading a long-forgotten story you read as a child.
“Who are you?” demanded one of the leaders.
The one who appeared to be the leader of the teenagers’ group stepped forward. “My name’s Harry Potter, sir.”

Her demeanour and voice are often distant and dreamy — though when she overheard Hermione calling her father’s magazine rubbish, the characteristic dreaminess temporarily vanished from her voice — and she would drift away from a conversation she did not find interesting. With her willingness to believe in many things without proof, calm demeanour, and interest in Quidditch, Luna is the opposite of Hermione Granger in almost every way, though the two remain good friends.
History: Order of the Phoenix
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry first meets Luna on the Hogwarts Express train where is is described as having straggly waist-length dirty blonde hair and a distant dreamy look. Harry thinks that she is odd because she was reading The Quibbler upside-down, and wearing a necklace made of butterbeer corks and radish earrings. When Harry first sees the Thestrals (horse like creatures that can fly) pulling the carts, Luna tells him that she can see them too. Both Harry and Luna could see the Thestrals when most others could not because they had both seen someone die and Thestrals can only be seen by someone who has seen a death. Later, Luna tells Harry that she and her father believe him about the conspiracy involving Harry, and that they support him. When Harry forms Dumbledore's Army Luna joins and gets better at defensive magic. When Gryffindor's Quidditch team played Hufflepuff, Luna supported Gryffindor by making a life size lion hat that roared. Later in the book when Harry was going to contact Kreacher about the location of Sirius Black, Luna kept watch for him, telling everyone that there was a gas leak. When Professor Umbridge's Inquisitorial Squad (a group of students who were given power over other students to punish) found him, Luna was captured and held by a Slythern, while being held, Harry saw her looking out the window, as if she was bored. After they had escaped, it was Luna's idea to travel to the Ministry of Magic by Thestral. During the battle at the Department of Mysteries Luna took an active part in the fighting. After Sirius's death Harry noted that Luna was the only person that could truly comfort him about it, because, like Harry, Luna had also lost someone close to her, her mother.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Harry first meets Luna again on the Hogwarts Express when he sits with her in a compartment, with Neville Longbottom some admirers of Harry's say that he could sit with them, Harry declines saying that Luna and Neville are cool. Later in the year, near Christmas, Harry invited Luna to be his guest at Professor Slughorn's party, Harry notes that she looks pretty, she wore a "spangled silver dress", while at the party she talked to vampires and shared her off-beat beliefs. Soon after the Party, Luna was the commentator at a Quidditch match, in which she went off on side topics by saying that the player Smith suffered from Losers Lurgy and she also pointed out oddly shaped clouds, and often forgot players names. At the end of the year, Luna patrolled the corridors in search of Death Eaters.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry first meets Luna this time at Bill and Fleur's wedding, in which she and her father, Xenophilius Lovegood wore "egg yolk" yellow robes. Later Luna was captured on the Hogwarts Express by Death Eaters because her father wrote the truth about Harry in The Quibbler. Harry assists Luna out of Malfoy Manor, where she had been taken hostage, and she comforted Mr. Ollivander (who had also been taken prisoner because Voldemort needed information from him), by sharing her beliefs. At Dobby's funeral Luna gave a nice speech which calmed everyone, thanking Dobby for rescuing them all from Malfoy Manor. Later when Harry had to find Ravenclaw's lost diadem, Luna escorted Harry into the Ravenclaw common room, where she also stunned a Death Eater. At the Battle of Hogwarts she cast her Hare Patronus, which made several approaching Dementors leave, and she also fought Bellatrix LeStrange. After the Battle, Luna made a distraction so that Harry could be alone.

Personality: Whitney is an incredibly intelligent young woman, and she knows it very well. She will let you know exactly what she thinks of you, particularly if you are acting immature (her opinion of immature, anyway). She is quite ambitious and will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals - and she very often succeeds. She is quite ruthless and enjoys taunting her enemies before she kills them. Whit also has a great sense of loyalty to The Dementor’s Shroud and will protect its power and ideals at all costs. She has a deep hatred for all Purebloods, even the few who have sided with The Dementor’s Shroud, and she has a fierce temper.
History: As a Muggle-born, Whitney knew nothing of the Wizarding World until she received her Hogwarts letter when she was eleven-years-old. Before then, she was a fairly decent girl, breaking the rules every now and then but not particularly mean or nasty. After she got to Hogwarts and was Sorted into Ravenclaw, she said some very nasty things to a couple of Slytherins who were picking on a Muggle-born Hufflepuff – though it was very nice of her to stand up for a fellow Muggle-born, it was also one of the worst things she’d done, as those Pureblood Slytherins never gave her another happy moment while they were around. She suffered many pranks and a lot of bullying from them, but she retaliated with just as much intensity, landing herself in many detentions when she was careless about when she reacted. She became incredibly bitter and hateful towards all Purebloods during her Hogwarts years, and after she graduated from her seventh year, she hunted down those first Slytherins who started the bullying and ended their lives with the Killing Curse. She went into hiding afterwards and was not seen by anyone again until The Dementor’s Shroud revealed themselves in control of the Ministry of Magic.

Personality: Edmond is a passionate believer in justice and equality for all people; be they Pureblood, Half-blood, Muggle-born, or Muggle. He isn’t afraid to tell it like it is; he’s blunt but honest. He is very stubborn and is not easily swayed from his beliefs, even if it’s clear that he’s wrong. He hates admitting that he’s wrong, and he can sometimes be a bit too over-confident in his abilities, refusing to ask for help even when he desperately needs it. He also takes things far too seriously and lacks the ability to actually have fun every now and then.
History: Edmond was always a very serious young man, never quite learning how to have fun. He was very studious and hard-working during his school years, especially at Hogwarts where he was Sorted into the Hufflepuff House in his first year. He made excellent grades and was a prefect in his fifth and sixth year and Head Boy in his seventh. He graduated with flying colors and worked at the Ministry of Magic until he was 22, when he was “let go” by his Department Head. While he was furious at the time, he soon realized that was in his best interests, as a year later The Dementor’s Shroud came out in power of the Ministry of Magic. So Ed, along with many other defiant Purebloods, created The Patronus Opposition to fight against The Dementor’s Shroud. However, when their resistance failed, he hid underground with the rest of The Patronus Opposition for seven years, quietly planning and building themselves up for an upcoming surprise attack on The Dementor’s Shroud.

History: Callum's parents had decided from before he was born, they weren't going to tell him about his abilities, thinking perhaps he might not inherit them anyways, so why get the boys hopes up? But on his 9th birthday, they were forced to, when strange things had begun happening to him and people around himself. Cal's dad, a half blood wizard, immediately recongnized it as Magic. Callum was a wizard.
He'd never been a particular evil child, but Callum was a very sarcastic person, who often gave biting remarks not caring on how it affected the person before him, so he was promptly placed in Slytherin. While he was there he befriended some guys who often exclaimed over the evils of purebloods and what'd they'd done to the muggle borns in the past. Cal was furious and grew to think like him, he never thought he'd begin killing though. But that changed when his heart was broken by a pure blood, that was the last straw and he was completely ready to join the rising group, the Dementor's Shroud. His ex was his first victim.
Other: Cal doesn't have at all a laid back attitude and usually can be seen as having no sense of humor. There really is no point wasting your breath on trying to get him to laugh.

What an odd reaction that had caused. Harry realized that he ought to be used to the stares he often received from other people – being the Boy Who Lived would get you those kind of stares and there was no way to avoid them. But there was something slightly different in the strangers’ looks – disbelief. As if they didn’t believe that he was Harry Potter. Or perhaps it was confusion, as if they didn’t quite recognize him. Had the Time-Turner messed up and gone too far into the past?
Edmond stared at the group of teenagers standing before him, looking very skeptical. This kid thought he was Harry Potter, huh? Quite a convincing costume, Ed had to admit, but this kid – and the rest of them really – were bonkers if they really thought they were Harry Potter and his gang. Potter and the rest were long since dead, and there was no possible way any of them could have secretly been alive for over the past hundred years; it just wasn’t possible to remain as secret with as famous as these kids were.
“Harry Potter, huh?” Ed questioned, raising an eyebrow. The boy nodded and seemed about to speak, but Edmond cut him off, turning his attention to the rest. “And the red-heads must be Ronald and Ginevra Weasley. Ah, and Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom are here as well. Fantastic.” He looked at each of them as he spoke their names, figuring out who was whom from his memory of the tales he’d heard as a child. Again without waiting for a response, he continued, “Cute costumes, kids. Quite convincing, really. But how did you find our hide-out?”

Whitney quietly entered the meeting room, opening the freshly oiled doors without so much as a faint creak. The room was empty, but that was merely because she was extremely early. The meeting didn’t start for another hour, but she honestly had nothing better to do at the moment, so she decided to come early and set up the meeting room. She quite enjoyed decorating it anyway. She decided to start by conjuring up a large chandelier above the long table in the middle of the room, placing many bright candles in their proper holders to provide light, as the room was windowless. She conjured a few extra candles and set them around the corners of the room for some added light. Then she stood back, tapping her chin with her left index finger as she thought about what else to decorate the room with.

Luna dreamily gazed around their new surroundings, her atypical wide-eyed expression on her face. All of these people seemed very surprised. Of course, Luna felt the same, but she was the type to look serene while her insides were actually churning. "Harry?" She turned to face him, making no attempt to whisper, "What's just happened?" She turned to address the man who had just spoken, placing a loose strand of her platinum blonde hair behind her raddish-earringed ears. "Excuse me, sir, but could you tell me what lovely place we've just landed ourselves in? You see, I believe my friends and I are lost."
Ginny was completely confused at her new surroundings. One minute, she was in the classroom with Luna, working on a Time-Turner for a project. Then, Harry and the others came in and everything after that was fuzzy. So now they were in an area that she didn't know with people she didn't know. As she glanced around, she slipped her hand into Harry's.
Then, she heard what the man said and narrowed her eyes at him. "You think we would joke about this?" She squeezed Harry's hand. "This IS Harry Potter, I'm Ginny Weasly and these are Luna Lovegood, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy."

Hermione was slightly frightened, one moment they were all gathered around with Ginny working on her project and now they were here. Though she knew not of what here was. 'Mione gave a small sigh and a quick gasp, who were these people looking at them as if they were crazy? She pressed closer to Ron, this was all making her so nervous!
But then hearing the boy, her eyebrows shot up and Hermione placed her hands on her hips, her know it all attitude about to shine through again. "Excuse us!" she said angrily, who was he to accuse them of being looney and ACTING all this out? "I really am Hermione Granger, and these really are my friends." she pointed to Harry, "And he is the Harry James Potter!" she crossed her arms with a huff. Ignorant gits.
Callum made his way into the place of the meeting, he preferred arriving early, it made it easier to blend in with the wall and avoid the others in the room. He didn't want to be here, not really, but he'd made a commitment, and he knew he needed to rise against the stupid pure bloods who tormented the muggleborns for years. He pushed back the gnawing feeling in his stomach. And looked up as he entered. Rats! Whitney was here, and Jordan as well. He gave a nod towards them before slinking off to his small corner of the room.
