Morpheus Howl is a reclusive wizard with few friends and many enemies. His castle is rumoured to contain a hoard of magical knowledge untapped by the Wizarding World. While he dodges Ministry officials on a daily basis, Howl has agreed to take 5 promising young students from Hogwarts over the summer break and teach them some of what he knows. It will be a springboard for their magical abilities, but first they have to adapt to his rather peculiar methods...

*Ashwinder's Role*
Similar to a Game Master in Dungeons and Dragons, my role will be to RP as secondary characters and nudge the plot along. I will not be forcing actions on any characters. If a scene is slowing down, I will PM the people in that scene and suggest they wrap it up so we can move to the next one.

*Characters Needed*
Much like the kids with the five golden tickets, the five users who join will each RP as one of the five chosen students. There are a few guidelines (and I do mean a few) in character creation:

1. Your character must have completed his/her OWLs. This means they must be at least 15.
2. Please try to mix up the houses.
3. NO animagi or metamorphmagi (though if it's their goal to become the former that's fine). Howl is a suspicious man and wouldn't let either type of magi in his castle.

*Important Note*
This is an RP for HYPERactive RPers. This means that people participating in this RP should be willing to play at least 4 nights a week, for at least an hour or two each time. I know this sounds pretty intense, but it keeps the plot moving at an equal pacing between characters. If you would still like to play but don't think you can spend that much time, PM me and we'll try to work out a smaller role.

"Why aren't you interested in being here?" Nadia returned with a grin.

Turning back around swiftly, she took hold of Liatris's arm again the way she had seen close friends do in muggle movies, gesturing widely with an arm at the alley around them; again attempting to replicate the theatrics of the muggle movies. "Look at how much there is to explore. So much more interesting than standing around in Diagon."

"... I feel as if I'm in a musical. A kiddy musical." Liatris said. "And so far it's only got beetles and dark alley and..." Liatris paused as she peered down the alley, "A old dress shop. With ... a dress that looks like a giant spider web. I am wondering when the villian pops up and says we are doomed forever and then we are saved by a singing crab who tells us we must go on a grand adventure."

Interesting. Clearly Liatris was reading too many books.

"Singing crabs?" Arching an eyebrow she put a hand to her friend's forehead. "My dear Liatris, did you sneak a couple butterbeers while my back was turned?"

Please say yes, please say yes. That rebel was within her somewhere. Say yes.

Eyeroll.

"No, Nads, I did not have a couple butterbeers. Its from a story.. oh, never mind." Liatris swatted Nadia's hand away.

"Look, you want to explore, lets just get this over with. There isn't much down here anyway." Liatris tried to find the closest, least swarthy looking store that could be of any interest to them. She really didn't want to deal with pickpockets or really bad salesmen.

Sighing she shook her head. "Strange books you read, these..ones with singing crabs." Probably a good reason why she didn't read. Such fantastical ideas were pointless and useless in the real world. This world.

While Liatris distracted herself with Merlin-knows-what, Nadia poked her head down one of the side alleyways. Shady, litter-rigged and narrow. Perfect.

A grin spread over her face.

"It was a film I saw once.. oh, like the moving pictures in Hogwarts." Goodness this alley looked miserable. "It told the story of this little mermaid and how she wanted to be human... Nadia, no, we're not going down there." Liatris proceeded to pull on Nadia's hand away from the side alley she was currently peering down. She really didn't want to get lost in the maze of the back streets of this place.

Why couldn't she just stick to Diagon Alley? What if Howl's assistant-- Lupo, was that it?-- couldn't find them? Liatris nearly groaned at the thought of what Howl would do if they didn't show up, and what thier Headmistress would do.

Detention for the whole year.

So. Really, it was starting to get annoying. All this sneaking and running around for a few illegal potion ingredients. He wasn't even going to use them for EVIL purposes this time around.

But you know--the Ministry had LAWS and you were supposed to ABIDE THEM. Who came up with that brilliant idea? Grumbling as he walked, bulges in his robes where there shouldn't be bulges, McKey Hall bumped into a rather soft....something.

MMM??! "CAREFUL! I am highly explosive right now. If we go KA-BOOM you'd only have yourself to blame...." ????? Hawtt. "Nah-dee-ah."

"Liatris you really need to learn how to rela---" Her words were cut short by a rather rude collision to her being. Whipping her head around to shoot a death glare at the invalid who had about as much sight as a mole, Nadia pulled Liatris behind her defensively; no one was going to run into Liatris, not while she was around. Merlin knew it would only freak the girl out more, perhaps bring forth bubbling panic that whoever the drunken stork was had been trying to rob them.

"Watch i---Mckey?" Nadia blinked at the other student for a moment. What was he doing here? She felt her grip loosen a little from around the hilt of her wand stuffed in her pocket as she eyed him up and down.

Then a slow grin washed away the scorn and she released the wood in exchange for pulling her hand out of her pocket. And with that hand she proceeded to poke at one of the buldges, her voice slick with mischeviousness. "What have you been up to?"

Highly explosive indeed. "Hmm?" She poked the buldge again, holding his eyes with a sly smirk. "Looks like we have a troublemaker here, Liatris."

Liatris nearly jumped a mile when Nadia yanked her around suddenly and once she regained balance she pulled out her wand and held it at the ready. This was exactly why she didn't want to come down here. Really shady people, really creepy people, really--

Highly explosive?! What was this?! Liatris poked her head around Nadia and to her suprise Mckey was smirking away at the two of them, with rather... bulgy robes. What, did he have six dozen pockets in his robes? Odd.

"Troublemaker indeed," sniffed Liatris, eyeing Mckey with a scrutinizing gaze. There was no way that this ruffian was going to do get them into trouble. No way. Not. at. all.

"Troublemaker? You use that word lightly, Nah-dee-ah," voiced McKey twisting and turning away from poking and prodding. These girls were dangerous. They were the troublemakers. They obviously didn't care if the Erumpent parts he was carrying...."Have you ever heard of Exploding Fluid?"

He'd just let that hang in the air. Maybe they suddenly got smart and stopped touching him. "No, I didn't stutter. Although, I did suffer from that when I was little. All better now, thanks."

And no shock therapy either.

Liatris gave McKey an unimpressed look. This kid was certainly an oddball and she wasn't sure if he was being serious of if he was being like most boys-- pretending to be dangerous and rebellious and cool to make girls like him more. Well, this Liatris certainly wasn't buying it and this McKey would be doing no good for Nadia; the girl already had enough rebellion in her for an entire army.

"I heard you right." Liatris sniffed, standing now beside Nadia, "and in all honesty I don't particularly want to know why you have illegal substances in your pockets, or what you are going to do with them."

"I do." Nadia pratically jumped to McKay's side, pulling open one of the pockets that buldged obnoxiously and peering inside. She couldn't exactly rein in her excitment now that she knew what was in his pockets.

"I've heard of Exploding Fluid before..." She mused with interest, well enough sticking her nose into his pocket as she searched inside. "And I use the word lightly, when it's acceptable to do so. For instance in this case right here....where did you GET this stuff..."
