Danielle pretended to concentrate when Prof. Lai walked over to Daniel to wake him up. Her small finger was still hooked on Alex's. Suddenly, Daniel's emerald eyes turned black and his hair was slowly turning white. The rest of the students were laughing at him, thinking it was funny. She knew something was going on, and it wasn't good.

Daniel suddenly spoke with a voice, filled with evil and malice. She gulped, fearing the worst. The glass windows shattered from the force of the strong wind. Screams were heard around the room. Prof. Lai backed off from Daniel, wand at the ready. Alex and Danielle got off their chairs, backing away as far as possible. Alex had his wand out, he pushed Danielle to go behind him. She looked at him, he had a serious expression on his face but she could tell, inside... he was afraid for their lives. And so was she. "A-Alex?"

"Stay behind me!" Alex shouted. "Everyone out of the classroom, now! That's an order!" Alex pointed his wand at Daniel. "You make one move, and I will turn you to bone, you evil **** hound." He threatened Daniel with a stern voice, but his insides were churning as if he was on a rollar coaster.

Danielle flinched. He had never shouted at her, but this was all for a cause. 'No... I can't leave him like this,' she thought. She slowly took out her wand and had a quick silent prayer then faced Daniel, who wasn't himself anymore. He was barely recognisable. She turned to Prof. Lai, who was now standing near the door. "Professor, go get the headmaster. Now!" she exclaimed. Prof. Lai looked at them, crossed. "Please, professor. We'll try to hold them off. Now go!"

OOC: The natural hair of Daniel is sniwy-white. It turned to black. Just a reminder.

Professor Lai and the class, except Danielle, Alex and Daniel, left the Defence Against Dark Arts classroom, running away from a nightmare that was once an intelligent and quiet student. Just before Professor Lai absolutely leave the room, she gave Danielle and Alex some words. "Be careful and beat him, even though he's a student." Without further ado, she left. Her destination was Headmaster Johanssen's Office.

"Well, well, well," Daniel started, "why don't you two run along with your fellow meat bags. You don't want to face me. You might die." He laughed evilly. The ex-student Daniel walked slowly to where the two were standing on. He grinned and asked, "Still here? Do you two want to fight me? Me?!"

"So what if I don't want to face you? I already am," said Danielle, her voice deeper and she sounded more serious than she ever was. Daniel gave an evil laugh.

Danielle looked around and saw that the classroom was beginning to turn itself into a desert. A shiver went down her spine as he cackled. "Oh I see... Something more you?" said Danielle, bravely. "Coward. You can't even fight in different conditions."

"I didn't expect it to affect you... since you're so powerful and all," said Danielle sarcastically. Daniel began to move awkwardly, he flew up then his body fell to the ground. She was shocked, covering her mouth. He stood up, robes torn and asked her, "What's happening?"

Danielle, still in shock, tried to explain to him calmly. "Daniel... You were possessed by Set," said Danielle, lowering down her wand. However, Alex was still pointing his wand at him.

"Seth?" Daniel rasied his eyebrows. "But he's... he's..."

Headmaster Johanssen lookeed from Professor Lai, who was nodding, to the students inside the DADA classroom. The DADA professor left the four so they can have their little talks. He looked at the two students attached to each other. The boy seemed distracted, so he asked the girl, "Danielle, care to explain the situation here? But first -- Daniel, will you go to the Hospital Wing. Madame Ferminia will cure your wounds."

Daniel nodded and left the room.

"So?" the Headmaster asked Daniel.

"Uhh... Right. Well, what happened was Daniel fell asleep in the class so Prof. Lai came and tried to wake him up. He suddenly shot up and said 'I'm sorry' in this weird, deep voice," said Danielle, putting her wand in her pocket to explain to the headmaster. She looked at Alex and he nodded, telling her to go on with it.

"He started to look very odd. His eyes turned black and his hair changed colour. He was saying some weird stuff then he tapped the walls and the classroom turned into a desert," Danielle continued, feeling very silly as the classroom was back to normal.

Alex still pointed his wand at Daniel, who was now on the floor. He wasn't going to take any chances while standing up against an Evil God. He stood sternly as the Headmaster conversed with Danielle.

The headmaster helped Daniel up and brought him to the infirmary. Before leaving, he said, "Thank you, Mr Cartwright, Miss Clark. Now if you excuse me, I'll have to conduct a meeting with the other professors. Further classes will be cancelled for today. I advise to you to go back to your respective dormitories." And he left.

Danielle sighed, "I'm so glad we're okay." She hugged him, putting her head on his chest. She kissed his lips then said, "I'm glad that you're alright."

Alex nodded and ran a hand through Danielle's hair. "I am too."

Alex looked at Danielle for a moment, and then leaned in and kissed her.

"That was nice," she said, smiling. They started to walk out of the classroom, hand in hand. Danielle looked at Alex. "Do we really need to go back to our dorms?" she asked, sounding a bit disappointed. "We could go back to the Room of Requirement. I'm just afraid Daniel or Seth might come there."

"If we get in there, and lock it, they should have a pretty tough time breaking in." Alex explained. "And if they do come, I beleive we are quite capable of handling them...Daniel at least."

"Are you sure? I mean, if it wasn't for that weird thing he did. We probably wouldn't be here. For all we know he could just burst in through the door," said Danielle, worried. "Alex... I'm scared. For you and for me. I don't want to lose you... I don't want to leave you either," she said, tears slowly rolling down her cheeks.

It was Alex's turn to be comforting. "Okay...Well, we either go there, and be with each other, or we go to our respected common rooms without each other. There is still the risk of him bursting through both our common rooms, especially since he is in Ravenclaw. I think it best that we not separate. If he comes in your common room, and you're alone..." Alex stopped and shuddered. "I dare not think of what would happen. Danielle, if we are to get attacked by him, I'd rather we die together." Alex leaned close to Danille and hugged her tight. "I'd rather die with you than without you love."

Hey, you're last line made me a lil' teary eyed. Hehe...

Danielle broke into tears when Alex hugged her. She loved him and his words were true. She rested her head on his broad chest, still crying and making his shirt wet. "Alex, I love you so much. I just want to let you know, before anything happens..." she trailed off, thinking of what to say.

"I never thought I'd say this so soon... You're the one." "You're the one, Alex," she repeated, "I can't imagine my life without you. Without you, I'm nothing but a body without a soul. I want to finish my schooling years with you, I want to marry you and have tons of kids with you, I want to grow old with you. I see my whole life being with you. I want to love you and cherish you forever and always."

Yours did too! Man this would make a great movie!

Alex smiled the widest he'd ever smiled, teeth showing ad everything. His eyes twinkled with happiness as Danielle spoke. He was speechless. He felt exactly the same way. Exactly. Right down to forever and always. He stared at her, still smiling and twinkly eyed. "I feel, exactly the same way love. Tons of kids, grow old, the works." He breathed. He felt his heart beating faster and his legs shaking happily. "I have never meet anyone in my life so full of passion and love. You've shown it all to me, and I want to be here with you to show you it back. Till my very last breath, I want to bee with you. And then from there, on to heaven. Forever will I stay true to you. Always I will love you." He finished, looking into Danielle's teary eyes. "I love you."

Danielle smiled at him, feeling so happy that she thought her heart would burst. "I love you too," she said, hugging him tighter and never wanting to let go. Her heart was beating faster and faster, it made her whole body shake. She kissed his chest, then to his neck and finally his lips. They kissed passionately. Alex pushed her to a wall. She tugged the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer and continued. Her hands grabbing his hair and caressing his body. Danielle bit his lip, making him moan a little.

The best kiss Alex had ever received. 'Wow.' He thought. 'This is awesome.' He felt Danielle smile as she kissed him, and he smiled as he kissed her back. "I could do this forever." He mumbled between kisses. HIs whole body was on fire with effusive compassion and love. He was shaking because of it. 'This is great.' HE thought.

When they finally released, Danielle giggled at the sight of Alex. "Your face is a mess," she giggled. Her lip balm was smeared all over his mouth and jaw. "But I don't care how it looks like. I love you anyway," said Danielle, smiling. Alex grinned and they made their way to the Room of Requirement, messy face and all. He put his arm around her, bringing her closer to him. Danielle put her arm around is waist, he kissed her forehead.

As they walked, Alex thought, 'I don't care how close to death I am, I'm living with love, and it feels great.' He smiled greatly at Danielle, combing his free hand down her long, dark hair.
