The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
Tora desperately looked about for a familiar face, or even someone her own age. With Isobel gone, Tora didn't know who to talk to anymore. At least she had Lolita Canary, although with all the noise Tora probably wouldn't be able to hear her anyway. The 4 inch tall mini-figure of the DC comics character was riding on her shoulder, hiding in her hair. Having recently been brought to life by a nifty charm at the Diagon Alley Summer Festival "Make Your Own Magical Item" stand, she still didn't quite know who she was going to be. So Lolita hid.
Besides, people might think Tora was crazy if she Lolita wasn't noticed and she was found talking "to herself". So Tora kept quiet and stood off the the side waiting for the Hogwarts Express to roll in. Or for her to find someone she knew. Whichever came first.

Kahlan had walked up and down the station what seemed like a bazillion times to her annoyance, constantly tapping as she waited for the train to finally arrive.
However it didn't seem to want to come anytime soon.
Taking a few steps backwards, she jumped forward after bumping into someone, twirling around extra quick looking at the other girl with wide eyes. Thankfully the girl looked like she was the same age as her, otherwise she would've tried to run in the opposite direction.
"Merlin's beard! I'm soooo sorry! I was just walking and then I didn't see you though that was my fault I wasn't really paying attention" she gushed quickly before looking down, a faint blush forming on the Slytherin's cheeks as she started playing with her mickey mouse jumper.
Standing there awkwardly, Jayden was careful not to look into the eyes of the bigger kids that walked past him in the case that they remember him and want to pummel him to the ground when they were at Hogwarts.
Jayden stood close to his parents. He was pretty much a nervous wreck, excited as well but more towards the feeling of nervous. The family stood there quietly absorbing in the noise of the place while waiting for the train to arrive.
Wanting to see a little bit more, Jayden stepped a little more forward and stuck his head out in between his parents to get a better view of the place. He turned from right to left and then right again looking at all the different sizes of people that were there, hoping to find someone who was probably his age.
“I’m probably going to die in school. All these people are not going to be able to see me.” Thought Jayden.
Better safe than sorry? And sorry would be being stuck in King's Cross with no way to get to Hogwarts, yeah? "Exactly!" Nodnod. See? They were on the same page about this. Awesomeness right there.
... Uh oh. Toddlers. Friends. That... reminded him of himself and Anya, actually. Alec reached up a hand and ruffled his hair again. There was no need to mention any of that, yeah? "You two must be... really really close, then," Which was awesome. Really. "I... Potions at uni must be really difficult!"

Man oh man oh man! Near death?! "I'm really sorry, mate," he said, frowning a little, "Girls are just... weird, sometimes. And confusing! It can be hard to understand them..." But then again, it wasn't as if they could live without them. ... And then Brodie mentioned an ex. Harvey's ex. Alec's grey-blue eyes widened and his complexion paled ever so slightly. Was there a need to mention that this had turned out good for him, Alec, since he was now dating one of Harvey's exes? ... Or... "Which ex is this?" Normal question was normal. Yeah. "Right... but... if he talks to Taylor, maybe she could... see reason? I mean... she might not get back together with you but she might continue being good friends with you?" That would be a lot better than, say, not talking to him at all, yeah?
"Yeah, we are." He smiled, "The three of us always have been." Brodie gave a small nod, "She's great with them though, so I'm hoping it'll be something she'll like. Her and Vince always thought alike, so when she found out it was her twin's strongest subject she wanted to follow."
"It's fine, just a lot of injuries... Most of which have healed, but I still need a crutch every now and again." He gave a small laugh, "Weird doesn't even cover the half of it." Brodie paused trying to think of her name, he'd only heard it once or twice, "Ella... I think was her name. She caught Harvey and Taylor hanging out one day and thought something else was going on... At least that's what I know of it." He shrugged, "I can only hope she will. Though she already wants to be friends... It's just vice versa there... I don't really want to just be a friend." Maybe that was a little weird but Brodie seriously did love Taylor. He'd given up a lot just to be with her.

He strolled down the platform, people watching everyone saying goodbye. He halted quite suddenly towards the end of the platform as a sudden thought came to him.
There were LOADS of new pupils here. HOW did they all fit on this rather average looking train?!

The boy headed down to the south of the platform when he turned back when he heard a popping sound to notice Eric was no longer behind him. He smirked. Surely the young man had disapparated to work. His boss only gave him until eleven o'clock just to send off his younger brother to the Hogwarts Express. Not surprising especially at this time of the year...
Angeal proceeded to push his trolley to where it wasn't, but still, so crowded. Terrant who was sleeping had already woken up by the chattering, shouting and various kinds of noises which started to give Angeal a headache. He sighed, wondering what to do now without even bothering to look around that he was standing next to a boy about his age.
Minerva shrugged, “I don’t know how much fun I’ll be having without you around.” She was trying hard not to be a wreck about him not being at school this term, but she also knew she was failing at this attempt. Not able to contain the pouty bottom lip she looked down at the ground. “I know I have all my friends and Ari and I have made plans, but it’s just not the same.” At least she had quidditch, well she hoped. She was always nervous about trying out, so anything could happen. Plus NEWTs would soon take over her brain and she honestly was already welcoming the thought of studying. A small sad smile crossed her lips at that thought, it would have been fun if they could have been. “Yeah that would have been, but Hadley wasn’t crazy enough to do that and Nessie was a great Head Girl.” Hadley just jumped off the mental train recently to put her on as Prefect this term.
Min looked up blinking trough the tears that had pushed into her eyes. Leaning in she gave him a small kiss. “Don’t get to busy for me, please.” that came out more pathetic then she wanted it to and she wiped at her face again. “It will be mine too.” She clutched the bear tighter trying to control her emotions. She gave a small nod, but didn’t look up at him with his comment, “Sure I’ll tell you.” but in all honesty she wasn’t sure if she would if it was as bad as last term. He was close, but he really wouldn’t be able to protect her, so why make him worry. She would probably not have to worry about telling him though, she knew he knew her well enough to know when something was wrong.
She couldn’t help but smile at him as he talked about his classes. She knew he was excited and she felt like she was just raining on his excitement being upset. He deserved to be happy and excited. He was moving on to bigger and more important things. He didn’t need to be stuck dealing with his crying girlfriend. “Well I can’t wait to hear all about them.” She really was wanting to hear about his classes, she just really wished she could be there with him instead of hearing about them through the mirror, but at least it was better than not hearing from him at all. She felt her stomach flip thinking about that and pushed those bad thoughts out of her head. She forced a smile with the Belle talk glad he had someone there.
She couldn’t help but smile and lean into him when he nudged her. “I do love her, she was an amazing present, but every present you seem to get me is. You really do spoil me. “ She looked at the new broom next to him. She was so grateful for everything that he had done for her. She felt lucky to have him. “Oh you will get plenty of goodies, don’t worry.” She managed a small chuckle. She was going to have to find others to cook and make things for now that he wasn’t going to be there, but she would certainly make a few things that Liesel could take to him. “I want to see Gretchen as well.. So I better be getting letters as well.” She bit her lip and looked down again.
Looking down, Ethan nodded solemnly at her words. He knew neither of them were really looking forward to the time apart and it was hard to really think of having fun without the other. But he also didn't want her to be too sad before they parted ways for the time being, trying to make light of things a little. "I know it's not the same.." he began, his arm still around her as he looked back up at her. "But maybe it will keep your mind off of things to stay busy. I remember how busy I was last term.. and hopefully it will make time go fast till we can really see each other again." He gave her a little smile, trying to stay positive for her, knowing it was really the best he could do. He tried to remind himself that it was only about a month and that he would still get to talk to her and see her face pretty much daily.. that shouldn't be so hard, right? Then why did it seem so difficult..?
He got lost in his thoughts for a moment, snapping out of them as he felt her lips on his. He looked up with a small smile, faltering as he saw the tears. "Oh.." he murmured as he gently lifted his hand to brush away her tears. "It will be alright.." he said, hating to see her cry but knowing the same sadness she felt. "And I will never be too busy for you," he added smiling a little. "Thanks," he nodded, leaning back and against her as she confirmed that she would tell him of any strange occurrences. He was going to be really worried about her being there without him, especially after everything that happened last term.. and that put him mind a little bit at ease.
He smiled a bit bigger as she seemed to share his enthusiasm, at least a little, over his new courses. That was one thing he was actually looking forward to, even if he would only be able to tell her about it and not really share the experience. Ethan chuckled lightly as talk turned of the gifts he had gotten her. "I try.. you're just important to me and I want to make you happy." And, in all honesty, some of it was just what she needed.. but he couldn't help but to spoil her at times. Not when he cared so deeply for her and she seemed to enjoy it. He managed a grin as she agreed to send him goodies. "Good.. I may keep you busy just doing that." He chuckled a bit at the thought and maybe sharing with his roommate whom he was sure would also love her cooking and baking. Ethan smiled softly and kissed her cheek before leaning back into the bench again. "You will have so many letters from me and see Gretchen so much that I think you'll be sick of us." He chuckled a bit as he meant it as a joke, but knew it to be true.. at least the frequency part. He hoped she wouldn't get too tired of him.

"Yeah... can't live without them, though," ... Ells. He'd actually said it was Ells and now... Alec felt a bit bad. Him and Ells had had a conversation about Harvey and him, being the jealous guy that he always was, didn't really like the idea of the blonde being friends with her ex. "Erm..." He cleared his throat. "I think... something else happened and there was a bit of lying going on and... Ells didn't like that." Which turned out great for him but... yeah. And it seemed as if Brodie wanted the more than friends thing as well. "It's sad, though, that she doesn't... share those feelings as well."

Good Merlin! Could the time passed any slower? He had been glancing over to the clock so many times that it should've already been a habit. Why did he feel like the time has gone backwards? As he was getting more agitated, overwhelmed by the crowd, he heard a voice sounded like it was so near to him. He turned towards its direction.
Despite how blank his expression is, Angeal caught what the boy was saying earlier. With these many people, he won't be surprised if thousands could fit in the train. Although, he wasn't particularly sure of that considering he was never bright at arithmancy. "Looks like it," he replied with a calm voice, but his lips almost pouting.
Now, if they could only let them on the train now...

There she was, minding her own business when a Mix-match of Mickey bumped into her! Obviously this person had not yet been acquainted with Tora's temper. She took in a sharp breath, but before she could say even a syllable of the indignant comment she had in mind, the someone who ran into her was spewing apologies.
Tora would have taken a step back at this moment to survey her opponent, but as she was already up against a wall, so she decided this would be a questionnaire instead. "Well, you seem sincere. BUT I do have a couple questions. One, what's the deal? Did you just not see me or what?," Tora couldn't resist putting in at least one remark. "Two, what year? Aaaannndd three, what house?" Tora finished up, smiling now because even though this girl had run into her, she could still be a friend. And Tora needed some friends right now.

He didn't look at the boy who apparently was confused by the remark he made earlier. "... That thousands of people could fit in to the train," he paused, then continued. "That is if everyone's squeezing in there like leeches in a jar waiting to be a potion ingredient."
That was a rather nasty way to put it. The only time he used the muggle subway, he didn't enjoy it. To be completely honest, Angeal preferred to side-along apparition or portkeys as a transportation method. Lesser time consumed and he didn't have to worry about being squished like sardine in a can.

The conversation was SUPPOSED to have been Benzi saying he solved the great puzzle, this boy saying he was a genius and asking him what the solution was, Benzi telling him and the boy declaring that he would NEVER have thought of it himself.

Suddenly noticing the boy still had his stuff with him, Benzi frowned. "Why don't you put your stuff on the train? I suppose we're going to be leaving soon, you don't want to leave your stuff here right?" he asked, eying the boy's trolley.
Put his stuff in the train? Wait, what? Eric didn't say anything about that! They don't just carry their stuff into the carriage? Well, logically speaking, the answer would be no. But, still... He could've used a warning. Now he needs to come up with a cover story. Hmm... "Too many people. I'll do it later," he pointed towards the porters who had to carry massive and heavy looking luggages and trunks. He shuddered. Poor things. There is a question though... "Do pets get into the carriage with us or will they be kept with the luggages?" He might as well ask because the other boy looked like he knows very well. Angeal's hope was the pets to be kept with luggages because Terrant can get very noisy that he was always tempted to use the Silencing Charm on it. Yes, he read Eric's book. Not that he was needing them anymore.

"I think they come with us. . . Just because you probably wouldn't want to leave your pet in the luggage compartment - it's REALLy cold in there," Benzi pointed out. Strange question to ask. Perhaps this boy didn't like his pet?
Benzi wasn't allowed to bring his. Mummy said dogs weren't allowed at Hogwarts. HMPF.

"I don't think I ever will... Vik'll kill me if I ever try to leave them." Brodie smiled thinking about her, then couldn't help the laugh that came out after Alec saying they sounded the same, "They're anything but... Honestly looking at the two you couldn't tell they were related and their personality's don't really mix either." No, Vince was just laid back relaxed. Vikki liked to be out and active always ahead, hence why she was a junior in college while Vince was still at his final year at Durmstang.
He gave a weak smile, "It's really not that bad... I mean, I guess now I've been through it I can't complain any longer about any smaller things." He chuckled and nodded to what he said. "I don't really now what happened like I said, she only told me about it once or twice... And now the girl hates Taylor or something along those lines." He paused and looked at him, "So, I'm taking it you know her too?" Brodie sighed then nodded to what he said, "I can hope, though she claims if I talk to her about it anymore she'll never talk to me about it. Little as I like just being her friend, I can't lose her all together." He looked at Alec, himself pausing as well. Alec talk to Taylor? It might work... Maybe if she heard it from two people that he really did miss her it would help if they weren't him... Harvey claimed he was going to but... He just wasn't too sure if he trusted Harvs to tell the truth... He looked back to the younger boy and nodded, "Anything might help. Thank you."

How was he going to carry the trunks? Well, wasn't it obvious enough? "I'll get the porters," he mumbled. Why did Eric have to leave so soon? He wasn't much of a talker as his brother was. The former knew it more than anyone else. Oh, well. Guess he had to start being independent after all since he was going to attend a boarding school. He wondered how it was going to be like at Hogwarts. Asking Eric didn't help because he didn't attend Hogwarts. Exhaling a long breath, he pushed the trolley towards the porters. He let a sigh of relief that he didn't need to explain to them as they immediately handled his belongings. Except for his owl, of course. He needed to be prepared to use the Silencing Charm on the bloody bird anytime.
That was when he realised the other boy didn't have any pets with him. Angeal raised an eyebrow without verbalising the question. Not that it was important anyways.

And then the boy walked away. Should he follow? Benzi took a moment to look around. It was either going with the confusing boy or staying here by himself. Benzi opted for the confusing boy. Confused was better than alone.
Watching with slight fascination as strangers took the boy's luggage, the eleven year old scratched his chin, taking this all in. "D'you have to pay them?" he asked, not noticing the boy's raised eyebrows at all.

Pay them? If Angeal had to pay them, he'd run, of course! Sure, Eric had packed him some sandwiches, but he wasn't going to spend the money he was given to buy food for some other things! "Uhh... I don't think so," he answered. Not in the muggle world, at least. He had taken taxis (the only muggle public transportation he would accept) to a hotel and they didn't have to pay the porters. Although, he did remember Eric giving them some money. They were called "tips", as he was told.
Strange that this boy looked as if the world itself was new to him. "You never met any porters?" he finally asked after observing how the other looked at the porters curiously. This was one unusually amusing fellow. Except if he never really experienced the muggle world.

Tora would have taken a step back at this moment to survey her opponent, but as she was already up against a wall, so she decided this would be a questionnaire instead. "Well, you seem sincere. And also what's your name? the next two questions were thankfully easy, and something that always seemed to be the asked question whenever you met someone new at Hogwarts.

I had a neck brace, two broken legs, basically all my ribs were broken and both lungs punctured… needed an oxygen mask just to keep breathing." He sighed. Maybe Hogwarts wouldn’t be so bad this year. Alec seemed nice, maybe someone else would be too… So long as Alec wouldn’t try to introduce him to Nash. "Good for you… It’s about the same amount of time Taylor and I would be together if we hadn’t broken up." Sorry… That probably made it sound like he didn’t care, he just thought of Taylor a lot… not that that wasn’t obvious.

Tora could definitely understand the "just looking around", after all, more often than not she herself was lost in thought just looking around. Though she usually did find an out of the way space (like a wall) to just look around from. But that was beside the point. The important part of this conversation was that the girl Tora was talking to was in her year. Which meant possible friend!
Her grin grew wider. "Oh a snake, huh? I've never had a snake for a friend before. Heh. Always a first though. I'm Tora Gallaway, second year, Ravvie." Tora always introduced herself first and last. "What's your name? Oh and while we're at it, what's your favorite class?" Might as well see if there was anything that might link the two. Possible conversation topics led to possible conversations which lead to possible friendships. See? Making friends is possible if you lose the temper.

He didn't mind... good good. Nodnod. "That's really nice," Really. "And according to some, friends are like your family." And in his case, he did call some of his friends his siblings. Like Minnie. Minnie was his pseudo-sister. "Oh! That works out well for their family!" GRIN.
When Brodie started listing off his injuries, Alec's grey-blue eyes grew wider and wider and he found himself at a loss for words. What were you even meant to say to something like that? The dude had... well... he was quite lucky to be alive, yeah? Not that Alec was going to mention that. "I... erm... are you sure you're not Superman?" This question was safe because not only could it make Alec seem like a funny guy -- which he wasn't -- it could also make him figure out whether Brodie liked superheroes or not. "Thanks!" ... Oh. Ouch. Would have been. "I'm sorry. ... Erm... how long did you two last?" Because he was curious. Curious Alec.
Nodnod. "Yeah... and then you'll end up feeling jealous but there's nothing you can do because... it's her feelings?" See, Alec understood, even if he hardly had any heartbreak in the past. He did, however, know what it felt like to like someone and have them be with or like someone else. "Awesome! I hope it all goes well for you."
