Going back to the drawing board, they finally decided on Hogwarts, but by then the year was already ending and his parents enrolled him for the next year. Her mother was barely human, so she pretty much raised herself. If not for a life-changing ride on the Hogwarts Express at 11 with Cassandra Cooper, Anjelica Lainey might have never gained what little social skills she possesses. At Hogwarts, Anj and Cass were both sorted into Ravenclaw, though Anj often questioned her position there. Surely the Sorting Hat only placed her there because she'd asked it to keep her with Cass. Either way, Cass and Anj were inseparable throughout their years at Hogwarts. They remained inseparable after school and right into the Auror Training Program. During Auror training, Cass met, fell in love with, and married Alexander Rae, one of the Auror trainers who was a few years older than her. Alexander and Anj were killed in the fight, and Cass was injured and pulled out by another team member. Funny thing though, Lainey's time apparently wasn't up. She stayed with hers and Rae's body in an ethereal form - then disappeared completely for a few years. What can only be called fate brought ghost!Lainey back to Cassandra Rae and Hogwarts. Headmaster Hendrik offered her the History of Magic position and Lainey accepted. In a series of unfortunate, odd, terrible, and wonderful events, Anjelica Lainey was given her body back. With her body, also came her life back. Though there were definite rough patches, many Ministry inquiries and stone throwers, Lainey was happy and healthy and continued teaching at Hogwarts. She is happily married to the man she should have loved for decades more than she did. Alec Cooper, Cassandra Rae's younger brother, has pretty much loved Lainey since the first time she went to the Cooper's home on holiday at 11 years old. History: Born in Tuscany to a very wealthy family, Lilyan was raised with everything that she would ever need, and then some. Her childhood was easy, fun, and healthy. Most of her family is scattered across the world, giving her ample opportunities to travel, something that she still enjoys. The Moretti family is a very large, and very Italian group. Lilyan has six brothers, and two sisters. Her father was a widower when he met her mother, and had five sons from his previous marriage. They married, and then added one boy, and three girls (including Lilyan) to the already large family, and in true Italian form, family gatherings are always full of people, loud music, babies, and rich food. Straight out of Hogwarts, with top marks, Lilyan went on to continue her education, and interned at St. Mungo's, making rounds through the levels. Eventually, Lilyan received a Healer position on Level Four: Spell Damage, and she worked there for almost five years. At the young age of 19, Lilyan fell in love, or so she thought. When Andrew learned that his wife was not only pregnant, but a witch, he panicked. He thought she was some kind of weirdo from a cult, and did not understand one bit. Eventually, their differences turned into hatred for each other, but they still tried to make it work, for their son. The marriage did not last long, in fact it was a miracle that they lasted for as long as they did. After four short years of on again off agains, they finally got a divorce, and Lilyan legally changed her name back to Moretti. Completely. Height: 1.83m (6 ft.) Background Risu was born in Luleå, Sweden. His parents, though a witch and a wizard, had Muggle occupations, working as general practitioners in their own practice, and more or less avoided the rest of the wizarding community. Risu grew up surrounded by Muggles, visiting a Muggle kindergarten and primary school. While the icy norths of Scandinavia (and Luleå's proximity to the Arctic Circle) generally tend to dampen people's moods, they also make for clear skies - still in primary school, Risu began to put the endless, freezing nights to good use, observing the stars through a telescope he had been given as a Christmas present on his 8th birthday. When his magical abilities began to manifest a few years later, his parents, concerned with the possibility of an accidental discovery or involvement by the Swedish magical authorities, sent him to Stockholm where he was given a place at the Swedish Magical Institute. The city offered less opportunities to gaze into the night sky, but the school provided Risu with an appropriate education. Feeling that it was time to get out of the African desert (where, at any rate, he spent most of his time mapping distant galaxies), Risu moved to London to rejoin the community of witches and wizards. Personality Long years behind computers at the Square Kilometre Array, working with similarly interested - or obsessed - colleagues and graduate students have taken their toll on Risu's social skills, but he can get along with pretty much anyone; even though, in many cases, his own contribution to a conversation consists mainly of explanations of his research or stories and anecdotes of his time in South Africa. Being deeply involved in unravelling the mysteries of the cosmos, Risu sometimes has trouble focusing on more earthly matters. She was born on September 7 of 2051 in the City of Canterbury located on Kent, England. She was brought up in a very strict Pureblood family, but does not share those believes or whatsoever. In fact, she's rather fond of Muggle Artifacts, even if those things possess the ability to confuse her. The oldest was 11 when Celandine was born, the closest to her in age was 5th year when she was first year. Her childhood was lonely, up until she started at Hogwarts her only real friends were her brothers. They're the ones that gave her positive attention, her parents consider her an object. Something to be sold off to the highest bidder. She's bubbly and bright, all smiles and sunshine as long as she's getting her way. If she doesn't get her way its wibbles and pouts and foot stomping, though its pretty rare that she doesn't get what she wants. Its a good thing then, that she doesn't have a mean bone in her body, Cela looooves making friends and doing nice things for her friends. She has no concept of money and value and is just as likely to spend 100 galleons on a friend as she is a single knut. She's also likely to offer a round of icecream one time but expect hers to be paid for the next. She's starting to get that some people aren't as wealthy as her, some of them have hand me downs and can't afford to buy whatever they like on a whim, strangely enough it isn't something that bothers her. She thinks its a little sad but she doesn't look down on those who are less fortunate since that would totally be looking down on everyone. She's got an ego, but its very matter of fact. She's got money, she's pureblooded, she's beautiful, she's smart. What of it? Pointing out the obvious won't get you all that far with Miss Toussaint. She has such a wide range of friends and she accepts everyone. Celandine always sees the bright side, the silver lining, the glass half full rather than empty and to make it completely full, she'll just decant it all into a smaller glass. She sees strengths better than weaknesses in herself and in others. Sometimes her eternal optimism protects her, other times its what hurts her the most. Cela likes to pretend everything is always sunshine and roses, she ignores the hard stuff, pretends it doesn't exist. It will go away if you don't acknowledge it right? She's a little more reserved now that she's older, more as a result of being kidnapped last term than because she's older, a little more responsible, a little more wistful, but still Celandine Note that this hasn't been updated since the beginning of TERM 25!
