The official Warner Bros Shop will be selling seven exclusive sets of the triple-play Blu-ray of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this November via their site to U.S. fans. Pre-orders are available now for the box sets including a 48-page photo album commemorating highlights of the film series, a Hogwarts tree ornament, Gringotts collectible case, Hogwarts crests pins and bookmarks, and Dumbledore and Harry's wand pens with bookmarks. Links to all the options, as well as photo previews can be seen here.

Also, several international release dates for Deathly Hallows: Part 2 have been announced, including: the Philippines and Mexico on November 11; Italy on November 15; Japan, France, Belgium, and Holland on November 16; Germany and Brazil on November 18; and Spain on November 19, 2011. We hope to have the full international list by the week's end.

Some people, like me, are meticulous completists. It's like Star Wars fans. George Lucas must release something "new" or "updated" at least once every few years, and some fans have to have them, even if there' no real difference other than a new box, or not even a few seconds worth of new footage.

Could someone give me a sanity check? The only way to watch any special features is on a blue-ray disc? But you do get a regular dvd of the movie in those combo packs? Are they vaulting everything on Dec. 29? what about an Ultimate Edition for DHpart2? I was lucky and got the dvd w/ features from wallmart but I have been collecting the ultimate editions as well now. It seems DH1 did some form of Ultimate but it was only on Blue ray.

I've been waiting to buy Part 1 because I figured they would sell Part 1 and 2 as a combo pack at some point. I haven't seen that yet. Did I just miss it?

i have pre-ordered the new dvd and blu-ray set plus the limited edition box set.
why ? seeing as we probably have all the individual dvds aready except dh 2.well because we or i am a harry potter fan.its simple really.
went to the usa for my hols in august stayed in florida.memphis.wash dc ad nyc, with my family and had a great time in island of adventure ie harry potter land. saw daniel in his musical on broadway while in new york and isn't he small in real life but the show my first was fantastic. dh2 just announced as the fastest and biggest dvd /blu-ray pre-order release for he uk.says it all .
i never tire of watching harry potter and i hope you don't either.

Ugh, when I first heard this announcement it was such a bittersweet feeling, lol. Sweet because of all the options to add to my collection, but bitter because I can't afford them all. My heart wants all 7, but my wallet is in pain.

I like the "School Spirit" and "For the Book Lover" ones the best (currently having a dilemma over which one to go with, although I may go with both, lol). Slipcases are cool, but they're done all the time, I've yet to see anything released in such an elegant looking wooden box.

QUESTION:

Are the bookmarks, crest pins, and HP wand pen being offered in the sets, the same ones for sale on Amazon here?

I ask because the only reason I have a dilemma over which exclusive set to get is because I want all the contents. That way I can get one of the wooden boxes (for the packaging) and also get the slipcase with the book. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!
