In a recent interview, Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis (Professor Filius Flitwick) stated he is a huge fan of the Harry Potter book series, even before he began acting in the films.

I was in to J.K. Rowling’s books about Harry Potter long before I was offered the part of Professor Flitwick and I’ve loved reading every one since then. So, yes, I’m really looking forward … like you … to the next book.

I have no idea what is in store for Professor Flitwick in the new book but I’m looking forward to finding out!
Warwick Davis is such a nice guy! It's refreshing to hear about the supporting actors. I hope OotP turns out to be amazing with the way every is talking about it.

That is so awesome, It always makes me happy when the actors who portray a character in a movie are fans of the book that it is based off of. To me it feels like they are more cannon with their portrayal of the character they are representing.
