But adult Potter fans will have to give the prize to a child as the role can not be taken by anyone over the age of 18.
Author JK Rowling is patron of the MS charity and will be guest of honour at the gala dinner compered by magician Paul Daniels.
Other top prizes to be auctioned off at tonight's event at the National Museum in Edinburgh include a holiday in Bali.
Last year the MS Society raised £287,000 with a charity ball at Stirling Castle and is hoping to match that with this year's 1950s themed event.
Earlier this month JK Rowling joined a delegation lobbying the Scottish Parliament calling for ministers to guarantee Scots the same level of care as MS patients in England. The author's mother died from MS in 1990 aged 45.

Oh yeah! Like I always said: it's all about the money. But really, to pay *insane* money, be an extra and appear no more than 1,5 times in the movie and, perhaps, see someone you wanted to see from the cast - I don't really think it's worth it.

[SIZE=14]I agree its cool but you have to have a lot of money to pay to be in the movie and no one will even be able to see you because the camera will be focused on the main characters. And hey they get paid to be there how ironic that you would have to pay to be in a movie when even the regular extras probably get paid to be there, but i suppose the money is going to a good cause. Still :ermsmile:
