Videos: Matthew Lewis admits crying over The Prince's Tale in Deathly Hallows: Part 2
In a couple of new interviews to promote the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Matthew Lewis confessed that he broke down in tears watching The Prince's Tale in the finale, calling Alan Rickman's performance the best of any actor throughout the eight-film saga. James and Oliver Phelps were interviewed in Hong Kong at their last promotional stop, and commented on how emotional it was to film's Fred's death in the Great Hall. Those can be viewed here.
Matt's final stop of promotion will be in Sydney, Australia today, where he will assist in unveiling a preview of Harry Potter: the Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum on Tuesday morning local time. SnitchSeeker will be at the event to get full coverage.
Matthew Lewis is quite an inspiring actor. A Very humble young man. He played his part with excellence and was so totally awesome in the end - absolutely the best!
I agree with and like everything Matthew had to say in that interview. He has a wonderful talent and is such an endearing person in the way he is approachable and open about his feelings. He's a true joy to watch and hear. Much wonderful success to him in all his future endeavours.
BYW---I cried during the scene with Severus's memories too. Alan Rickman is a wonderful talented actor. The boathouse scene is unforgettable.
