He did so good when I saw this earlier and John won! It's been an awesome show plus...Neil Patrick Harris is just plain, hilarious.

He was nervous and still getting used to a fast paced musical BUT he did great. I saw him when it was day two performing.
John Laroquette rocks!
Dan was great!
Everyone should see it.
He is going to be gone during the month of July so please check it out in August.
Dan is NOT going to be gone for the whole month of July, just for three days while he's in London for Harry Potter duties. So, there will be NO show while he's away.
So I've had this song struck in my head since the day they performed it on the Today show in April; but even more so, today, I couldn't stop singing it and then I turn on the tv and see that they're performing it, which made my night! Aw, poor Dan is so tiny. Gosh, he's like a ten year old kid full of energy when he sings and dances, (even more than his usual crazy hyper self) especially in that costume with the bow tie, which really makes the performance fun and adorable! ♥ I'm really mourning the fact that I won't be able to see the show now...it just looks like a blast. Lucky New Yorkers!
Oh and haha, I love his messy hair afterwards...it really works nicely for his features in a good way.
I've been wondering, for this performance and Broadway shows like this do they sing it live, or is it lip-synced? Usually I can tell and hear the tiny imperfections, but with this song it's extremely difficult for me to tell. Sometimes the singing sounds too perfect, hitting all the right notes but other times the vocals sounds pretty natural and not prerecorded. I've heard them do this song quite a few times and sometimes I go back a forth thinking it's one or the other during the same performance! When I say lip-syncing I don't mean it in a bad way or that Dan can't sing, as it's obviously him and he's great at it. I can understand that some dancing performances have choreography which takes quite a lot of focus and a lot of people just can't do both singing and dancing unless they're a super humanly extremely talented individual like Michael Jackson or another legend.

Taking over the world with Laura! | Doing everything Danish style.♥
Hahahaha, Dan is so short!
I would've never guessed that he can actually sing? But he really nailed it! I would kill to be able to see the entire show!
