Video: Harry Potter series honoured at 2011 Teen Choice Awards, wins seven awards
 

The Harry Potter series was honoured at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards, where the cast and final films, Deathly Hallows: Part 2 won several awards, including best fantasy film. Tom Felton and Rupert Grint were on hand at the ceremony in Los Angeles in Sunday evening, and with the aid of Daniel Radcliffe via satellite in New York City, accepted the seven awards on behalf of the finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2. I was so happy to see how well HP did, I must say I almsot didn't want to watch because I feared that things would go like they usually does and was thrilled when they annoinced HP and it's cast several times over, congrats to all of them, they're really going to end these amazing years with a bang.

I voted for this (even though I'm not a teen-gasp!) so it could win all the awards (making up for the monstrosity that was the MTV Awards). Deserving and fitting for the end! :D

Romine.. I DO agree with you that the kiss award is unfortunate. It really should have been Emma Watson/Rupert Grint. I was confused when I saw that too.

It's about time they won a bunch of these awards. They have deserved it every year but never won. I am hoping the academy awards do something special for them this year too. Jeez 10 years on "one" project is an accomplishment. Especially when it's stars grew up on the whole thing and turned out to be decent human beings.

I'm especially glad that Tom Felton won for Best Villain altho' it's hard to consider him one especially when he's such a nice guy in person. I guess that makes him a really good actor:-)

although Rupert's and Tom's real names were drowned out, not sure how i would feel to be introduced as a character and not my own name :P specially at this crucial point of their careers where they're trying to continue post-Potter.

as for the Kiss selection.... well to be fair it was the hottest kiss in all of the 8 movies, yes Ronmione was cannon and movie-wise it was actually pretty good, but Horcrux Harmione was the thing to beat, it even had mainstream media commenting on it.

And the H/R kiss wasn't an option, so it really did deserve it :P

I watched it. I was so glad HP won! The only reason I watched it was because of Harry Potter. I never thought award shows like this know who deserves the awards. HP deserved their awards since day 1. What i love about that clip, is how the friendship between those three just shines through. And Rupert! He's found his voice at last. He sounded so comfortable on that stage, in a way he never has in any interview i've heard or read.

I'm so happy that the cast and crew of Harry Potter finally got recognized for all their hard work. I have a feeling that these won't be the last awards that they will be winning this year and next. I'm disappointed that Rupert Grint wasn't nominated because without him the most powerful magical trio of wizards and witches wouldn't have existed.

Tom Felton is a "pro" at presenting awards. I love the way he introduced Daniel Radcliffe at the end. "The one, the only....."

I remember reading on Twitter that Tom was going to be playing cricket against the Phelps brothers, so I guess that must have been the Gryffindor vs Slytherin cricket game, although I do know that they are also playing each other in golf. Wouldn't mind seeing vids of those games.....hint! hint!
