The BBC released new looks at some of the elements and scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone that will be featured on J.K. Rowling's interactive site, Pottermore, including the first look at the questionnaire fans fill out to get their perfect wand from Ollivander's wand shop, which involve information on eye colour, height versus age, and worst fears. New shots of Privet Drive, the first paragraphs of the beginning of the book, and a sneak peek at the Dursleys backstory are displayed, as well. That can be seen, via HarryLatino's tip, below; screencaps can be found in our galleries.
Pottermore is currently scheduled to send out welcome letters to fans who signed up via the Magical Quill challenge last week. If anyone has been accepted into the beta site, please let us know!
Can't tell for all of them, but the far left wizard picture in the Wand Quiz says "Smart for your age" while the far right wizard picture says "Tall for your age." The middle one is a little too foggy.
I can read them just. There is tall for your age, Smart for your age and average height for your age...

I know that the top left is Darkness, the middle fire, the right heights, the bottom left is small spaces, but I can't read or guess from the picture what the bottom right is.

Day 1 August 8-14, Day 2 August 15-21, Day 3 August 22-28, Day 4 August 29-September 4, Day 5 September 5-11, Day 6 September 12-18, Day 7 September 19-25
ohhh i cant wait !!! but someone tell me why i cant see the sign in button for pottermore ?? i got my letter its just that the button isnt there anymore

I'm really excited and can't wait to get my email.
It's really annoying though when the fandom falls for so many trolls just making up dates to get people riled up. No one knows when the letters will be sent out!
Omg this is so annoyingggggggggg, when are we going to be given some information regarding the emails its not fair we have been waiting since june when we found out then we were told the 31st and ok the quill quest was good but still longer to wait and now we are waiting with not even a whisper of anything.......
At least it gives us something to look forward to, without the books and movies. Maybe she should have waited even longer, to spread out the excitement. I am still riding my excitement from DH 2! Probably not a popular opinion, but making us wait a year would have kept the 'wondering' alive just a little longer!
I can't wait!!! It's going to be so awesome.. I have to make myself stop thinking about it because I get so anxious waiting for my letter haha. Has anyone gotten the email yet?
OMG that is so awesome!!! I was kinda feeling down after waiting for some info about the welcome letters, let alone the welcome letter itself. And now after seeing this I'm getting excited again Please please send us the e-mails!

That IS the theory on many HP websites...but Pottermore has never said this. While it certainly makes sense, and may very well be what happens...we don't really know! The wait is killing me! lol
