| | | UK HBP: 608 pages Bloomsbury, the British publishers of the HP books, have confirmed that the British edition of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be 608 pages long. It was previously announced that the US edition would be 672 pages long.
Recently a form emerged indicating that the 6th book would be 608 pages long. Bloomsbury have now confirmed this information as 100% authentic.
The UK editions of GoF and OotP contained 636 and 766 pages. NOTE: The page length differs because the US version has chapter illustrations and the font is slightly larger than in the UK version which means the words to page ratio is fewer in the US editions.
Thanks to Potterish for the form.

Very good page number amount.....
Although I wish I could get the UK version instead of US....I always liked the covers better in the UK....
I have all books except the 4th from the UK....

I dont like tha the US version has to be longer. It's going to be a pretty heavy book and I dont like carrying around heavy books.

LOL, yeah. I hate carrying around OotP in my bookbag, it makes it huge and extremely heavy. Do the UK versions of the books have that page in the back where it details the printing information? I wonder what font is used, lol. I also like the chapter pictures, but Snape always looks funny in them because he has a mustache! lol

I think so. Normally that sort of blurb has to be in every version. Quote:

i know it is quality not quantity but i can read POA in a day She did say that initially, but she said, she thought it might be. Obviously, after editing, it wasn't. But 608 pages is double the amount of PoA which was 315.
