Bloomsbury and Scholastic have unveiled the cover art for Deathly Hallows, the last book in the Harry Potter series. Vote on your favorite cover here   Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, U.S. edition (left), U.K. children's (right)  Deathly Hallows U.S. full version  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, U.K. adult edition The UK covers (both kid and adult edition) can be seen at Bloomsbury.com. They include the blurb and the jacket sleeves. Further to that, Bloomsbury have also announced that the book will be 608 pages long.
The blurbs read; Quote:
Harry is waiting in Privet Drive. The Order of the Phoenix is coming to escort him safely away without Voldemort and his supporters knowing - if they can. But what will Harry do then? How can he fulfil the momentous and seemingly impossible task that Professor Dumbledore has left him?

Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task: that of locating and destroying Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes. Arthur Levine, the US editor, revealed the US cover art on the Today show. Watch the unveiling here. Quote:
"We're seeing Harry in a very interesting situation. Readers will find out exactly what the situation is," said Levine, who admitted he cried as he read the book.
When asked about the possibility of Harry dying; Quote:
Levine held his ground, saying only, "We do know that someone's going to die."
Quote:
"When I was reading it, I had both the excitement and the power of the book, and the plot, driving me forward. But I was also feeling a little sad. It's the last time."
When Levine admitted he "sobbed and sobbed" while reading the book, Vieira made a valiant-but-failed final effort to get Levine to disclose whether Harry Potter is finally done in by Lord Voldemort.
"That means someone we like dies, doesn't it?" Vieira prodded.
"Well, it means it is a very, very emotional book," Levine said.

The covers are great as always! I always thought it strange that there were always 3 different covers. I live in the US and HAD bought the UK covers for the last 2 books and just sold them! I decided to keep only the US hard covers. Strange but I don't have much shelf space anymore ... too much anime!
Also keeps you wondering what will finally happen? hmmm....

the cover certainly suggest tha harry is alone.i,m sorry to say this but in the end there will be neither ron nor hermione to help harry,maybe they do die in the
end.the figure shown on the back cover may not be lord voldy. it probably a dem entor.the tunnel is not the arch way this is certainly something else.  the second cover art is certainly slytherins locket.besides hogwarts is certainly not blue.

Gosh I'be been out of touch from the Potter world for a while now that it's a shock to see the last book--well, at least a cover of it--in front of me. I'm getting the US version, but the adult version looks the best, IMO.

Wow, they are all beautiful! I love them all for different reasons! I'm so excited to read it, but so sad that it's ending! I know that if it made him cry, it's definatley going to make me cry more than him! I still can't believe that it's all coming to an end!
