i am the first to post cool i am entering that is the first riddle it's hard

I've answered the riddle and entered a character analysis/prediction, like they asked for.

Also, no revealing the answer to the riddle in the comments/post after the news article. That could spoil it for people.

The riddle was a breeze, the "letter" freaked me out more than a little bit. I hate having people read stuff I write--posts here generally excluded--particularly when my name is attatched and I know it's going to be judged. And the thought it will be passed on to Jo is even more daunting. When I read that part my breathing got shallow.

I hope I win something, too. I don't think I'll be devestated if I don't, though. I'll just be happy to know I got the answer to the riddle right. I love riddles!

I wish like Oh my gosh, Jk is going to read what I write about one of her characters?! How mad does that sound? It kinda scared me. I hope I didn't get anything too drastically wrong.

Who did you write about fan?

Ron. There were certain theories and aspects of what's happened in his past that didn't make it seem like I could get too far fetched or sound like too much of an idiot (which can be easy--I really hate making theories about what's going to happen). Besides, I really like Ron.

I hate doing theories too, I mean, she's The One, the creator LOL Imagine if I'm way off the mark, she'd end up laughing reading.

I wrote about a paragraph, I think. Just on her and her connection to death and stuff. Nothing earth moving. And nothing clever, just came straight off the top of my head.

In retrospect, I guess it would've been smart to write my answer out and proof read it first, oh well. LOL

I wish I had proof read, as well. I was just trying to think too fast, you know? I was too ready to enter to take time to think about all the things I could say. I wanted to be pretty brief, too (unusual for me, right?). I figured you'd do either Luna or Snape, but you'd end up with Luna. I haven't written anything for anyone else to seriously consider in more than two years.

Fortunately, I don't think The One would laugh too hard at us. I think she's genuinely interested in what we are gleaning from her books. I think she'll be shocked, amused and impressed by a few things she receives. And I wouldn't be terribly surprised if some of the stuff was repetitive. A lot of people discuss and a lot of people agree, you know what I mean?

Some wilder opinions/theories may give her a laugh lol I could just imagine her sat at her laptop, looking around on Mugglenet, like she has before, or even here *waves to Jo if she sees this and apologises for too many Snape avvies* and giggling evilly because ultimately she knows what is to happen.

^There are some wild ones out there. I expect there will be times when she can't help but groan, as well. I think she'll have fun with our replies, at any rate.

I'm going to freak out until TLC announces those results!!! I wish the deadline--which is already short--were sooner!

When is the deadline btw? LOL Like when are the "winners" announced?

The deadline is June 6, 11:59 pm (I have no idea what that means for you, as I assume that's EST). They just said they would they would announce the winners shortly thereafter. I'm sure they'll have to go about casting out a few wrong answers to the riddle (I don't think too many people will get it wrong, though) and then comes judging the "letters." I really don't envy them that task, either.

oooh was I supposed to put a serious prediction? oh..well..I suppose mine is a possibility..in a daft kinda way :ermsmile:

i haven't gotten the riddle yet. I'm really bad at riddles, but I'm trying! I hope I get something. I can't write either so who knows! lol but, i'll do my best! lol

I am turning 13 in july, but i cant be in that contest. I know what the awnser was already, it was so eazy but i cant be a particapant. *asking mom if she could do it for me*

Ooberu, it doesn't *have* to be serious. In the rules, it said they look for creativity, originality, humor and something else. So you dont necessarily need to write something dead serious! LOL

ooo-i don't like riddles, this one is kind of hard-well actually i think i know what it is but i'm not positive. i just dont want to get it wrong. i'll try it anyway though!

i'm better at writing than solving riddles lol

I must be the only one here who seriously has absolutely no idea on what the answer to the riddle could be. Bah!
