Give him a chance to redeem himself, everyone. Maybe HBP will be his best HP scriptwork yet.

Tao 10-23-2005 03:14 AM

Crap!

*shakes fist at Kloves* You better not ruin the Ron moments in HBP!

Nabs 10-23-2005 06:26 AM

^he probably will..he's ruined most of ron's moments anyway *sobs*
it's pathetic! he's making ron out to be some sort of idiot, and hermione is a know it all..and the lines are sooooo cheesy!!!!

I'm afraid he may just do that. Based on what we have from GoF, Hermione is the victem in the Yule Brawl, I know Ron is a little tactless but we are meant to see it being justified as his feelings. Do doubt Hermione will do no wrong in GoF, and HBP she won't at all be jelous of Harry as she is in the book.

MadameMalfoy 10-23-2005 07:46 AM

No! I dont want him back. I loved HBP and if he ruins it I swear I will pesonally hunt him down.

OtterySt.Catchpole 10-23-2005 07:54 AM

Ron saves the world, now that's what I call canon...Ottery's canon...Mwahahahahahaha

Yay *does the Ottery* :yoshi: But I don't like dumb Ron Boo

*fires all the cannons at Kloves* Dork <_<

*giggles* I'd take Emma's version over Steve's anyday...*sighs* yes even with goody Snape. *sighs* At least we'd get lots of Ron... tells Ems..."Shirtless!" *Ottery dreams of the Quidditch match*

Kitty Loves Steps 10-23-2005 07:58 AM

HAHAHA I'm flattered, really, but I wouldn't want the responsibility.

:whip: Touche, my friend. At least I wouldn't have him coming across as evil. Which is more than you can say for GoF, apparently. That irks me because we do not know for sure yet. Blah. >:/

Peter Pan (2003). Pure genius. Watch that, pay attention to the script and you'll see why so many people are chuffed he's doing the fifth movie.

RiccySempra 10-23-2005 08:23 AM

I think its quite funny how excited the audience was when they found out. I just listened to the whole two hour junket thing.

EmmaRiddle 10-23-2005 08:36 AM

Yeah, Newell's reaction made me laugh. "Oh really? Oh that is good." Sounded almost too happy for it to be sincere. Heh.

SiriuslyInLove 10-23-2005 10:26 AM

I see that there is a 13 year old fan-girl inside all of us, huh Otts?

Lol, I suppose you are right. But I wouldn't trust you in handling my beloved H/G ship, maybe you would be kind enough to allow me to write those scenes. Mind you they would probably have pleanty of cheap swipes at a certain other ship which will remain nameless and end up being well over 200 pages long.

See, I would love for him to do to H/G what he did to P/W, that was one of the most entertaining modern-day romances I have seen on screen. Gold. And if he wants to write H/C like that then more power to him. Although... H/C didn't exactly enoy the smoothest voyage.

I noticed that too, I thought he was being a little sarcastic. However the way he raved on about him after made me re-consider this.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Liannajane 10-23-2005 11:08 AM

what!... *falls to the ground in utter despiration*
just when i had hope for the final few films, my nightmare of POA will be relived.
*off for some councilling*:console:

Lupin Jr 10-23-2005 11:48 AM

I don't think it will be as bad as PoA, if Kloves isn't careful then Hermione may have some *gasp* flaws. I mean, afterall she was fairly immature with her emotions and, at times, tactless in HBP, so there is a chance she won't be as irritatingly perfect as she was in PoA. I mean, she wasn't even tired and irritated after time-turning, she wasn't even scared in the shrieking shack, she stole Ron's greatest line, she punched Malfoy out of spite, not irritation, she cared about her hair, she... *eye twitches* I'll stop, no more ranting I promise. Just Canon!Hermione, I love Canon!Hermione, please.

groovychick 10-23-2005 12:37 PM

Nooo, I thought we'd got rid of him for good! I suppose we can look forward to Super!Hermione and Idiot!Ron in HBP! *shakes fist in random directions*http://snitchseeker.com/vb3/images/smilies/annoyed.gif

Leeness 10-23-2005 12:37 PM

Ohh i'm glad because i really like his work, he has done fantastic for the first three and i'm sure he's done a fab job in GOF also. Although i do dislike some phrases he put in POA.

All i can say its better than nothing ^_^

You killed me Will. I may not like the ship but for sure I would not make her out to be a hussy as some Hr/H shippers might. Be grateful they're not writing the script! hahaha

That's exactly what I mean. Goldenberg was great at the nuances of teens. He handled the romance well; it was subtle but at the same time the sexual tension was intense. Mind you, that was also down to the great performances from the actors.

Kazters 10-23-2005 02:16 PM

Your joking?

What did we do to deserve this?

Blah!

Blah indeed!

Kazters 10-23-2005 02:19 PM

*pets HBP* he cant do it he just cant! grrr!

*Snivellus* 10-23-2005 02:21 PM

^I think he will... I just have this bad feeling about it! After reading the GoF 'overview' yesterday where it said Snape was portrayed as being 'evil' and all that I just...well blah to Kloves! :(

Kazters 10-23-2005 02:41 PM

Kloves tried to sugar coat it, and make it all about Hermione! Just look at POA they should have changed it to Hermione Granger and The Prisoner oF Azkaban! are WB just being lazy?

wheezy\'s gal 10-23-2005 02:54 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I want my wheezy back! My canon wheezy back in HBP!

WB has to be the mooooost insensitiiiiiiiive studio in the whole world!!!

*throws a fit*

Tao 10-23-2005 02:57 PM

Perhaps if we all send in letters to WB complaining about their decision to bring back Kloves for HBP. LOL It can\'t hurt, right?
