Steve Kloves will return for 'Half-Blood Prince' In November last year it was announced that Michael Goldenberg would write the script for 'Order of the Phoenix'. At the press conference today it was confirmed that Steve Kloves (the scriptwriter for all 4 Potter films thus far) will return to the franchise for film 6. Quote:

1st to post! thats good news ..i guess.. |
Well that's...eh not what I expected... Blah! |
Neither me Sniv. I wanted Michael to do the rest of them. In my opinion he's a better writer. |
Ick ... I'd rather have Michael do the rest, he's better than Steve. |
Grrr!! I really dislike Kloves' portrayl of the books, Michael will probably be so much better. Stupid Warner Brothers..keep Michael!!!! |
If they got Tarantino to direct he could do the script too...LOL *sighs* Well it's not like it's going to keep me from watching the film, but my expectations have dropped dramatically...I hope they get a good director at least. But Hitchcock is dead, where are the Houston's and Wilder's of our day? |
Cheer up Ottery, this way you'll get what you want in one sense. I bet you the message will very much be Snape = evil. That's the impression GoF gives according to the overview so that's bound to happen with HBP too. |
I'm fine with it, as long as the book is protrayed well and doesn't go way off it or anything. Like, I'm still sure the other movies will be brilliant! |
thats great |
O, that supprised me. I read somewhere that he would not re returning, so I had expections for a different (probably better) movie, but whats done is done and I suppose that we are going to have to live with the decision, hua? |

I'm just well...it's kinda weird they won't give Michael a chance and let him try it out - just like they did with the directors...why can't they try and new one and just forget about Kloves. |

Well, there's one good thing about this. ...... Uh... *thinks* Never mind. This is crap, to put it simply. *sigh* I am so disappointed. Does this mean that the R/Hr in HBP will actually turn into H/Hr, since apparently Kloves likes to write in H/Hr? |
You are kidding right? Ah, I thought Super!Hermione had gone down in flames after her self-rightous, Mary-Sue character in PoA failed to attract much empathy from the audience. Why do I have a feeling Hermione will suddenly harness a skill in quidditch, Ron will be an idjit, Harry will take a back-seat, Luna will be a ditz and Ginny will appear in the background of one scene, despite the fact that she is the love interest. *HeadDesk* ahem... I mean... yay... |
Well if you think about it Steve Kloves does write the dialogue very good but some of the things he does just annoys me soooo much but oh well we will have to see what he does. |
I am disappointed with this news. |
Well then, who's gonna write the 5th? |
Great. Another book he can ruin. |
i dont really know who i want to do them i guess i like michael better so i would want michael |
*cries* Not Kloves!! Emma, why don't you write the screen play and send it to WB? At least then we'd know the characters would be protrayed accurately. *goes off to my corner to cry* |
Whatever... Who's Steve Kloves Anyway? :dizzy: |
oh no............ not him! if he does come back, which he must not, I will die! I'm going to go off and cry now. |
