| | | Steve Kloves to script Deathly Hallows, no decisions made about length
In a follow-up to the Deathly Hallows two-part rumour, Empire magazine has spoken to W.B. who have told them that “no decision has been made about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”.
The publication goes on to say that Steve Kloves will return as screenwriter however he “hasn’t started writing the script yet, since the Writer's Guild of America strike prevents him from doing so."
We are still waiting to hear from W.B. ourselves. |

Here is what I'm thinking... if the stike is going to be a problem if it's not resolved soon then why don't they get someone who's not american to write the scipt? I mean I don't believe that only american screenwriters are good - But honestly I don't care much who writes the script as long as it's THERE (and good)

If it doesn't end soon, that could delay production.
That what I was thinking about. What if the strike didn't end soon, If W.B wants Kloves so they will delay the movie or they will search for another screenscript writer, a British one for example.. I don't know if Goldenberg ( the screenscript writer of ootp ) is British or not?

This makes me really worried about the last film. Can't they just get a British screenwriter who's not a part of the WGA (but part of the UK's writer's guild), and have them write it? Not that people are happy with Kloves' adaptations to begin with...

| Ravenpuff | Cap'n Crunch | Bedtime Queen | O Minion, My Minion Stupid writers strike *mutters* I'm so glad Steve Kloves is back. I liked his work much better than Michael Goldenberg's. I think that was his name, anyways...
