Three days ago, a British tabloid claimed to interview Rupert Grint and published alleged quotes by him trashing Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Hollywood actresses in general and even included some negative comments about his co-stars Emma Watson and Jessie Cave (aka Lavender Brown).
This story, published in The Sun, was subsequently picked up by many outlets around the world and, as a result, Rupert's reps released the following statement today: Quote:
In response to articles published this week, Rupert Grint wishes it to be known that he has never met Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton and has not nor would he make any negative comment about them as has been stated. He has also never made any negative comment about Los Angeles. He will be taking action against those parties spreading these falsehoods.

he shld ignore tht stupid paper like emma and dan.i know they spread way more falsehoods abt emma as she's a girl and a teen actress etc...but i think of d trio,rupert gets the least since he's the low profile kid.but still,he shldnt sue.everyone knows wht a dumb tabloid sun is..way worse than mirror or mail etc.

Yes, I read about that article on two different sites and thought it was funny that he said that about Lindsay and Paris. A bit harsh, but funny. But he should definitely sue considering he didn't even speak to them. Death to tabloid journalists!  | |
