| | |  Rupert Grint recovering from swine flu (UPDATED)
The BBC are reporting that Rupert Grint's publicist has confirmed that the actor is recovering from a mild bout of swine flu. Rupert reportedly took a few days off filming Deathly Hallows but is well enough to attend the Half-Blood Prince premiere on Tuesday. Quote:
"He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members," his publicist said.
Quote:
"Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted," she added.
UPDATE: At a press conference held today in London, Rupert commented on his illness; Quote:
"It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu," he said at a press conference with other Potter actors including Emma Watson in London.
"I thought 'Am I going to die?' But it was just like any other flu really."
"I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days."

My thoughts and prayers are with him, as well as my hopes for the last Harry Potter movies.
They better be completely sure that it's as mild as they say it is. We cannot have anything happening to Rupert Grint, and anyone from Harry Potter, of all people!

WOW poor guy!!!!! :-( I remember the press had asked Emma something about swine flu because she had travelled to Mexico when the swine flu scare was extremely high. We had a school in my area close for a few days b/c a kid had gotten it. Hope Rupert is feeling better now and cant wait to see him and his mates at the premiere!!! :-)

I just saw this on the News.... I think this has shown everyone that the UK has been hit (though not quite as badly) as the US. Still 7000 cases in the UK's pretty bad for her size & population.
