The official trailer for
CBGB, the biopic about the famous club and starring
Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint, as Cheetah Chrome, and Alan Rickman, as owner Hilly Kristal, is online now via The Hollywood Reporter. The film will hit U.S. theaters in limited release this October, and is rated R.
Rupert recently spoke to USA Today about
CBGB, and his upcoming projects
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, as well as his West End debut in this fall's
Mojo.

"I have always wanted to play a punk," says Grint. "It was really good fun."
"It was a real buzz. We actually felt like we were in a band, which is something I have always wanted to do, secretly," Grint says. "It was nice to have a little taste of that."
"It's not really that I am trying to shock people or make a big statement," says Grint, "It's just part of moving on."
"I couldn't believe [Cheetah Chrome] was still alive given the amount of drugs he took," says Grint.
"[Stage] is a completely new thing, a whole new level," says Grint. "It does scare me. That's kind of a reason why I want to do it."
