We reported a few days ago that there was a rumor that there would be no "Weasley is our King" storyline in Order of the Phoenix.
However, in a new exclusive interview done by RG.net, Rupert says there will be no Quidditch at all in the fifth movie. Mugglenet also reports: Quote:
He also says he was "looking forward" to filming the Weasley is our King storyline, which "may be" in the sixth film.

Shannon  There was the Quidditch World Cup. Major Quidditch, just not at Hogwarts. And Steve Kloves was the writer in GoF and cut the QWC down to nothing. Now there won't be any at all. Does this mean the twins riding off into the sunset won't be there? I can't even contemplate the ramifications.

WEASLEY IS OUR KING. Do the film-makers not get it? It's the little things of the story that makes the movie flow evenly and nicely! It gives something to look forward to!
I'd do a much better job of directing the movies, in my opinion. *is not happy with this ommission*

What they can't do that! well i guess they can but that was one of my favorte parts! the fourth movie hardly had any and now the fifth one won't have any and poor Rupert he was looking foward to doing that so badly. No matter what though

WTF?! It doesn't go with the story line as much as it did in OotP! They can't just use one thing from a book and put it in the other! Man, I officially hate HP movies.
That was the only reason worth seeing OotP!!! Oh well, at least I'll save seven bucks...
Dopeople hate Rupert or something I mean seriously. What just because everyone one thinks Ron's stupid, they push away all of his lines. No that's it, it's time to boycott Steven Kloves.

I'm extremely upset about these turn of events for the OOTP movie. Other than being a lovely story which I think could blend perfectly fine with Harry's story, I really wanted to see Rupert in Quidditch gears and not the usual awful clothes that they make him wear. Hermione's hair isn't bushy and she wears diamond earrings but Ron can't wear cute jeans and cool shirts. However, Rupert doesn't seem shaken up about the issue so I guess I shouldn't make a big deal of it either. Hopefully, he does get to play Quidditch in HBP. This movie had better be excellent because if it's crap I'll just be thinking how much better it could have been if they'd just not been crappy and included the Weasley is our King storyline. I guess I'll wait and see.

This really is sad news, but I understand that they do need to cut things out, and personally, Weasley is our King may not be the most important. Maybe the screen writers will plan to emphasise more on the the Ministry. I don't know. I'm sure they have good logical reasioning for this
