The Journal News has a new interview with Ralph Fiennes in which he talks briefly about Lord Voldemort, the character he plays in ' Goblet of Fire'. Quote:
Fiennes embodies the serpentine Lord Voldemort, archenemy of our hero and "the most evil of evil of evil of evil of men," the actor says, shaking his head side-to-side before slipping on the spine-tingling silk of Voldemort's voice.
He's not a big Harry Potter fan. But then, flippancy gives way to the hallmark Fiennes seriousness.
"I'm not a psychiatrist," he says. "But I do think childhood is the answer. And thank God, J.K. Rowling has done the work for us. Lord Voldemort is a rejected child. Once I understood that, I could locate the rage."

Lord voldemort turned out to be what he was just becuz of this neglect as a child...and we usually see this..though its not necessary for a rejected child to turn out like that, we do see exceptions.
No wonder he cud find out the rage required for the role....i mean anyone wud in the circumstances.
But I guess he makes the Voldy i had in mind come true...he's a real
