Hmm..it's very interesting that Jo Rowling would just blurt it cout, even though many of us fans strongly suspected it'd be him. :shifty:

JulieAnn 10-09-2006 08:29 PM

That would be interesting if it is true, and most people guessed that it was Regulus, but until it is posted on her website, or is substantiated, I think that people should take that news with a grain of salt so to speak. Anyone can say, "Oh yeah I talked to so and so" or "I sent them a letter and they answered it!" but that doesn't necessarily mean it is true. We will just have to wait and see, but hopefully it is true :)

For some reason i believe Nunez since she probably wouldnt lie for something that (unlike that other journalist)

and yeah that was my first guest that it was regulus...it most likely is.But i hope JK doesnt comment about this or anything cuz i want her to save all the suspense she can for book seven!

Im bad in Spanish but i do know that in order for the wording to be correct she would need to know the gender, anywhoo...i wish i had JKs number:hmm: *sighs*

THANX 4 THE INFO!

ahshlyn 10-09-2006 08:32 PM

Oooooh!!!! This is awesome news!!!

But I agree with JulieAnn. Hopefully RAB is Regulus..

britishgrl09 10-09-2006 08:47 PM

CooL! But i am not sure that she would really tell him that.....i guess we will find out soon!

skates 10-09-2006 08:48 PM

Ok people, before we go into hestaria about this little tidbit of news, let's consider what JKR has done to us in the past. Would she really tell that? I mean come on! Well, I guess it's possible, we'll just have to wait and see. Can't wait for book seven!

Stage_Magic 10-09-2006 09:04 PM

I'm not sure she's telling the truth, but it does sound plausible.

Obi-Wan K'Lari 10-09-2006 09:04 PM

hehe.. figured it out!

MusicalChick 10-09-2006 09:05 PM

I knew it!!!!!!!!!! Haha!!!!!!!! I can't believe Jo told us that. That's like telling us the title of book 7.

........

*hopes she'll drop more hints* Thank you ever so much Jo. We love you. :glomp:

slythringurl04 10-09-2006 09:09 PM

yep, i thought that too...

Phantom_Planet 10-09-2006 09:11 PM

It could be Regulus...but I don't think J.K would just say it outright to this person...or anyone for that matter.

Lissy Longbottom 10-09-2006 09:15 PM

I always thought it was him, but since JK hasn't told the press or anything, we can't be sure. Maybe this translator person is just trying to get herself some attention

MadamMim 10-09-2006 09:21 PM

noooope

There's no way JKR would give it away, not even to a foreigner (lol). No way at all. We all know how secretive she is, and that's the way it should be.

Tinkerbaby94 10-09-2006 09:38 PM

I think i figured it out too, I'm almost positive.

Yeah that's my train of thought ^_^.

Brina gurl 10-09-2006 09:51 PM

wonder if it's true... hmm... Seems it should be harder than that.

Emil-Owich 10-09-2006 10:01 PM

Just to let you now..

Acrturus means: bear guard, in Latin

starlightangel 10-09-2006 10:03 PM

It would be interesting to see what JK says about this, i doubt she would suddenly let her guard down and let something like that slip to be honest

argentinaz_angel 10-09-2006 10:10 PM

its not him. i swear i dont know why but its not him:no:

Chocolate Frog 10-09-2006 10:11 PM

I really didn't want to find out until she finished book seven who .R. .A. .B. stood for but she maybe right on account that it is Sirius's brother who took the locket from the hiding place where Dumbledore and Harry went to look for the locket and found out that the real locket was taken already.

evil punk rocker 10-09-2006 10:26 PM

thats what most of us thought but I'm not going to believe it fully till we hear it from Jo

luvtheweasleys 10-09-2006 10:26 PM

Although personally, I believe RAB to be Regulus....until I read what JKR has written, I will not believe it...I seriously doubt that she would let such a huge piece of information slip like that...very uncharacteristic of her..she wants to keep people in the dark as long as possible!

[the.time.turner] 10-09-2006 10:33 PM

Well, I'm not going to believe it until I read Book 7. Something tells me that if Jo won't tell anyone then she certainly wouldn't tell a translator.

Les Mots 10-09-2006 10:39 PM

I think it fits. I mean the name's right, and Sirius never told Harry how Regulus died exactly. He just said it was something to do with Voldemort. So, I think it's him.

ilovehermione244 10-09-2006 10:48 PM

I find this hard to belive. I don't think JKR would just blurt out something about the future books. And seeing as it is just a rumour, I don't really think much of it at this point. But it's still interesting!
