Actor Ezra Miller, who will be playing Emma Watson's on-screen stepbrother in the adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, recently spoke to E! Online about how much of a surprising drastic change the Harry Potter actress took in her first American role.  Quote:
"You better gird your loins," Perks actor Ezra Miller [said]. "When it comes to Emma people just have no idea. People have no idea what they're in for. It's great!"
Emma and Ezra's 'Perks' costar Nina Dobrev voiced the same sentiments earlier this year to E! about how Emma's character Sam, and the film itself, will show audiences a new side of the Hermione Granger actor. Quote:
"The world has only seen her basically in one role—a pretty conservative, sweet, smart character, which is great," Watson's Wallflower costar Nina Dobrev [said]. "But this one, she pushes the envelope in a different way than anyone's ever seen her, which is really great. It's a great role for her."
"I think [fans are] going to be excited to see her in something else," Dobrev says. "And see her spread her wings and try different things. It's always exciting to see someone you love do something different and see a different side of them."
The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which finished production in Pittsburgh this past June, currently has no release date.  | |
