The following is a short summary of what some of the Harry Potter cast are up to, now that filming for 'Goblet of Fire' is almost complete. Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) has signed onto a new project, ' Keeping Mum'. Quote:
Maggie Smith plays the discreet housekeeper who decides to take the situation in hand and rid the town of its dirty secrets.
Rowan Atkinson, who was once rumoured to be Voldemort in GoF, takes the leading role in this film as the village vicar. Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) has agreed to star in the film adaption of ' Disgrace', a book written by South African author JM Coetzee. Quote:
Fiennes will portray twice-divorced Cape Town academic David Lurie, a professor of literature who retreats to his daughter's farm in the Eastern Cape after an affair with a student shatters the fixed routine of his life.
Kenneth Branagh (Lockhart) is lending his voice to the One Small Step campaign, an advertising campaign that aims to break down the sectarian and racist barriers that divide society in Northern Ireland. Quote:
The advert from the One Small Step campaign, which is launched on Monday, features the voice of Kenneth Branagh.

thats cool there a busy bunch of ppl arent they?!this may be old news but alan rickmans doing/or just did quite a substantial voice of one of the characters in the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy film, a robot voice or something  and dan radcliffe is supposed to have been offered the lead in the soon to be filmed hannibal lector prequal about the reason he went a little off centre :evillaugh
i love ralph, maggie and kenneth - some of the best british actors around!

Ooh, Kenneth Branaugh should be good in that since his voice is quite commanding. Wow, I can't wait to see them in those films along with GoF, except predictably, those will come out much later.

I will look out for the advert that involves Kenneth Branagh in it when it comes out on Monday. They all must either finished doing scenes in GOF or they werent involved in the production of it. Either way they must all have very busy lives. | |
