PoA Running Time confirmed - The length of the third film confirmed Summary:
In their summer movie preview, the Associated Press says that POA runs 2 hours and 15 minutes long. Article: PoA Running Time confirmed Associated Press has reported that @prisoner of Azkaban' has a running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Chris Columbus (Producer) is quoted, in the article, as saying, Quote: "It's always a double-edged sword. Every kid who saw the movies wanted them to be longer and almost every adult wanted them shorter," Columbus said. "But I think this movie is so good that I don't think you'll get a lot of gripes." That is really, REALLY short as long as hp goes. I hope they didn't cut our too many parts!!!! |

good point KAZ!!  this is an alright time, but i won't be happy until i've seen the film for myself and i am satifised that the film is as good as it could/should be!! |

that's shorter than i thought-i thought it said somewhere it was going to be 142 min-not 135 which is an hour an 15 min. i think that's way too short-but as long as they don't cut out too much-i guess it will be alright

I thought they would make this one at least two and half hours. Well, I guess we will find out soon how much they cut out.  The books are always better than the movie. I can imagine they will add additional film when it goes to video or dvd.

Thats actually about how long I thought it would be.
They probably didnt cut out much because its a lot quicker to talk and act out all the words and pages then to read it. U know!?

AAh, bliss! I can imagine it now: me and my friend sitting in the audience eating chocolate raisins watching Harry Potter for 2and a half hours!!! I can't wait!

i thought POA was gonna be about 3 hrs long! 2hrs 15mins is waaaaaaay to short!
