Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been nominated for nine
Saturn Awards, which recognise the best Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror films of the year.
The film has been nominated for Best Fantasy Film, Best Supporting Actress (Imelda Staunton), Best Performance by a Young Actor (Daniel Radcliffe), Best Director (David Yates), Best Writing (Michael Goldenberg), Best Music (Nicholas Hooper), Best Costume (Jany Temime), Best Makeup, and Best Special Effects.
Additionally, Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Alan Rickman (Severus Snape), have been nominated for Best Actress and Supporting Actor, respectively, for their roles in
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in Universal City, California. Good luck to all those nominated!
