Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has received six nominations for this year's Sony Ericsson Empire Awards, which will take place March 9, 2008. Amongst those honoured, actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson received nominations for best actor and actress, respectively, as well as the movie's director, David Yates. The film itself has been nominated for best film, best sci-fi/fantasy film, and best soundtrack.
The awards are voted for by fans and readers of
Empire magazine; to vote, go to the
voting page (you must register to vote), and place your votes for all the respective categories.
The awards show will air on ITV2 on March 10th. Voting closes February 25th.
