Jamie Waylett has updated his blog and in the process mentioned that none of the cast have signed on for the fifth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, yet, mainly due to the fact that production does not start until January 2006. Quote:

I hope they all return. IMO i think Rupert would be the most likely to return, he did say he would if he got offered, but Emma and Daniel seem really indecisive.

Yeah, I'd agree. They're more cautious for obvious reasons though - they're still in education whereas Rupert & Tom aren't, maybe that's why they're so keen to stay on.

Has Rupert and Tom finished school already or did they drop out? It would be wise to have an education, as something to fall back on if acting isnt really for them.

They're not drop outs. Compulsory education finishes at 16 here. You can choose to stay on but the work gets harder and more time consuming and having such big roles, I'd doubt they'd have the time.

Ah, I didn't know compulsory school ended at 16... well I'd be disappointed if they didn't keep with HP, but I'd still cheer them on nice and loud if they decided to keep with school - it's SO important, I can't stress that enough.

i hate to be pesimistic, and really really wish they would sign on, but i don't think they will. as of right now,acording to imdb.com OotP isn't sceduled to come out until 2007. by that time the cast will be 17 or 18 years old. it sucks that they're all growing up so fast! i love them all so much...

I cannot bear for the cast to change already as I am already used to them! I mean, they do such great jobs! I can't wait to see Rupert and Tom again in those movies. I suppose by the time they start the last movie, the whole trio would be outta school by then!
