She's there when all of the teachers get together to protect the school from voldemort. and she's with neville when they're getting those plants (whatever they're called) to dump on the death eaters.

Emma meant How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, not Deathly Hallows.

Zoe Wannamaker has said that she won't return to the Harry Potter Films because she thought the pay wasn't good enough

Actress Zoë Wanamaker, a star of the Harry Potter film, has said that she will "boycott" the sequels unless Warner Bros. boosts the salaries of the actors. In an interview with the London Sunday Times, Wanamaker said that she received less for making the movie than she did for a recent BBC production. She also claimed that she and other British actors will receive no residual payments. The Sunday Times quoted her as saying: "We have all been cyber-scanned so we can all be replicated [in computer games]. It's bad form. Even the costume designer who came up with these amazing creations will get no residuals. It's shocking and disgraceful. ... Some actors signed three-film deals but the money was so cra* I was insulted so just signed for one. If they want me for a second they will have to up their rates."

I think thats a bit... well stupid really. Money shouldn't be the issue, it would be a honor just to be in the films and shes complaining about the money.

Ms Wood 09-26-2008 07:55 AM

^^^^^^

Alot of people are only in it for the money, and if the Actors union thought it was out of order to not get residuals then this issue would of been raised with WB by the union.

I personally would do the films for my grandkids or my legacy if i was her age. The HP films are going to the the Wizard of Oz and Grease of our generation. These films will be played for several decades to come like the classic Childrens films. I think its a sad that she feels that way.

HP301 09-26-2008 09:26 AM

Yay!
I loved her at COS :)
