Matthew Lewis (Neville) gave his reactions to 'Half-Blood Prince' in a recent Pottercast. A transcript of that interview is now online. Elements discussed include Snape, horcruxes, Neville and romance. Quote: MA: Yeah. What do you think? Snape - good or bad?
ML: Ohhh, I really don't think that he's bad. I just, I don't. I think he's still a good guy.
MA: Yeah. What do you...what is it, you think, because this is now the number one debate in Harry Potter fandom, so, why? Why is he not bad?
ML: I've put through my head so many different ways thinking, "What could be a reason for him doing that? How could be the big plan?" I really don't know. I just - the fact that he trusted him, and, I don't know. I just get the feeling that he's a good guy.
Quote: MA: Yeah. Any theories on where there's a Horcrux?
ML: I reckon, yeah, you know the things that are being stollen by, oh what's-his-name! I've gone and forgotten his name, now! The guy who's stealing jewelry from Sirius's house.
MA: Mundungus!
ML: Yes! Mundungus! I reckon that he's under the Imperius Curse, and he's stealing Horcruxes.

ML: Hmm.....Ahh..... Luna Lovegood.
MA: Did you know that J.K. Rowling said... that she shot that down on her website?
ML: Really?
MA: Yeah, she said that Neville and Luna shippers, it's just not going to happen because Neville would always be too alarmed by Luna's wacky brand.
ML: That's totally true, actually, yeah. She's got that one right, actually. I just thought off the top of my head that she's a little bit crazy and he's the total opposite. But it could be a bit funny. But she's got it absolutley right with his character. He's always kind of terrified of her, I think.
MA: The only person I can think of is Hannah Abbott.
ML: Yeah, she's sort of quiet. Not really speak up too much.
MA: Yeah, and she tends to get mentioned in Herbology scenes and we see that's Neville's strong suit.

OMG! That would make sense! Cause hes a theaf (sp?) he awlays gets into these places (im asuming anyway). But how Harry caught him in Hogsmeade and Draco was using the Imperius Curse. And then there was Katie Bell who was under the Curse too. It would make sense if that came up! GOOD THINKING MATT!

nice interview. sometimes i think snape is bad, sometimes i think he's good.. but whatever happens, i'll never forgive him because he killed dumbledore (unless dumbledore isn't actually dead, but that can't happen, can it?)

I never saw N/L. It just seemed like they were chucked together because they were the odd 2 out, both because of their personalities and the fact that they were the only unpaired of the 6. I totally agree with JKR and I said it all along; Neville could not handle Luna's eccentricities.

i guess people always pair up luna and neville because of the fact that although they are both friends with the trio,they are more outsiders/extras in the scenes,and they both live thier own separate lives from the trio.
