CBBC Newsround reports that the ' Order of the Phoenix' casting department have narrowed their Luna Lovegood search down to 400 girls out of the estimatd 15,000 who attended a casting call on Saturday. Quote:
According to Warner Bros. the girls who have reached the next round have a wide range of accents, backgrounds and ethnicity. They came from all over the UK and Ireland ranging from Renfrewshire to West Sussex, and County Clare to Newport.

I pity the casting people. I bet that's hard work. 15,000 girls...at least 20% of those look the role and 5% could really fit the bill. Decisions..decisions. My resolution is to never complain about the girl they'd hire as Luna *I know many will do*

Down to 400 eh? Well,that seems better from the millions (exaggerated sorry) that originally turned up...but the narrower it gets..the better. I think the announcement of who plays Miss Luna Lovegood will be the WB's birthday present to me!
