J.K. Rowling, 'Fantastic Beasts' & Harry Potter films casts attend NYC world premiere
The cast and crew of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them queued up for the world premiere in New York City's Alice Tully Hall on Thursday evening, leading off with author and producer J.K. Rowling, actors Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Carmen Ejogo, Ron Perlman, Zoe Kravitz, Jon Voight, Faith Wood-Blagrove, and Josh Cowdery, as well as director David Yates and producer David Heyman.
Yates, as shown by the video here, introduced the premiere screening to a live audience, and brought out the five main stars: Redmayne (Newt Scamander); Waterston (Tina Goldstein); Sudol (Queenie Goldstein); Fogler (Jacob Kowalski); and Miller (Credence Barebone).
Supporting Rowling and her Wizarding World were Harry Potter films' actresses Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch, who also attended the New York world premiere, as shown here on the black carpet.
Up next for the Fantastic Beasts world tour is the Lumos gala screening on Saturday evening at New York City's Carnegie Hall, which SnitchSeeker will attend, including a conversation with Rowling and Redmayne, and the introduction of the movie by Yates and the rest of the cast.
