J.K. Rowling updated the first day of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup - Nigeria vs. Fiji - on Pottermore through The Daily Prophet sports reporter Ginny Potter. The full story can be

Rowling will update throughout the week, every day, about the goings-on of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup, and even noted on her Twitter that Ginny's family, including of course husband Harry Potter and three children James, Albus and Lily, will join her at the final.

In the early stages of the game Fijian Beaters Quintia Qarase and Nirander Singh lacked the ferocity of their Nigerian counterparts Aliko Okoye and Mercy Ojukwu.
