In a new interview, actress Imelda Staunton spoke about her return as Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and how getting the role has changed her life. Quote:
Another role that Staunton is to revive is that of the malicious Dolores Umbridge for the two-part film Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, which is due out next year.
'Now, that is a great role,' she says with relish. 'It was wonderful playing this baddie dressed in pink, and to be able to play her again is a real treat.'

Her first Harry Potter was in 2007. Did it change her life?
'No, not really. I don't get chased down the street by hordes of kids. I still live a very normal life.
'The one good thing is that I get a lot more good scripts coming through my letterbox. Vera Drake raised my profile in one way, and then Harry Potter in another.'

cool...she is coming back...honestly she was a character...i mean nothing against her but her acting as umbridge was awesome...she was also there in Freedom Writers i guess as the departmental head for the english subject and she was nice there too...waiting for her Umbridge to return...

I'm so excited to see her on screen again. She was such a tremendous actress, and portrayed Umbridge soooo well. She made me loath the character even more, which I was such wasn't possible! I'm happy that they seem to be going well along with the book! I can't wait to see what they are going to make the locket look like!

I'm not surprised that it raised her profile. Before she did Harry Potter, I dont think she every played a villain before. So I'm sure that was a nice change of pace.
