Over the past weeks, there has been much controversy over whether Gary Oldman will reprise his role as Sirius Black in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' which has begun filming. Today, producer David Heyman has made a statement regarding the matter in the Hollywood Reporter: Quote:
"We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing," "Potter" producer David Heyman said. "We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black."

I'm glad, but like I've said before, this isn't surprising. Gary's manager is trying to get something finished here, and the WB is just trying to get them to sign quicker... It's really too bad that both sides caused such an uproar over nothing.
But I am 100% glad that this is almost all worked out. | |
