 Harry Potter at award ceremonies - in the US, UK and Australia Summary:
Harry Potter and elements related has been nominated in three awards shows which will be aired in the next three weeks. Article: Harry Potter at award ceremonies
The first event takes place in the US, New York, on Friday the 24th of September 2004. These are the second annual Relly awards (Regis & Kelly) for which Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter actor) has been nominated in the Junior Achiever Category. He won last years award and fans worldwide voted for him last Wednesday. The show will be broadcast on ABC and will commence at 9.00am.
The next show takes place in Australia, on Saturday the 25th of September 2004. These are the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for which Harry Potter was nominated in the best film, best book, best video game and best movie hero categories. This show will be broadcast on Nickelodeon at 6.00pm.
The last show takes place in Manchester, in the UK, on Wednesday the 29th 2004. These are the Celebrity Awards 2004 and the three main young leads in the Potter films are all nominated in the Young Celebrity of the Year category ( Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint). But, alas, only one person can walk away with the prize and there are people nominated in the category other than them. This awards show will be broadcast on ITV1 at 8.00pm.
Please note: Just because certain actors have nominations does not mean that they are obliged to be there. Remember, the cast and crew are currently very busy filming for Goblet of Fire so they most likely wont attend any of the ceremonies, with the possible exception for the show that takes place in the UK.

With all those nominations they're sure to walk away with something. I voted in the Relly awards but i wont be able to watch it. Neither will i be able to watch the stuff in Austrailia. But i will be able to watch the one in the UK. Thak goodness for that! I'll have to remember to watch it but knowing my luck i probably wont get control of the tv that night or something. Its on ITV you said. Well that good then i can watch it up in my room if i can get a good picture. My family fight over the Sky all the time.
Speaking about awards, i think that Harry Potter may be nominated for something in the Disney Channel Kids Awards 2004. I think that its on Sunday 19 September at 10am. If your wondering i read it out of the Sky tv guide. Its nominated in best movie and best video game catagories. You can vote Here . And i think that you have to vote in evey catagory to vote for it I think. | |

that's great, soo many nominations! i know they will win something. i wish i could watch all of them, but i'll only be able to watch the Relly awards and my mom will have to tape it cuz i'll be in school :/ , but i know Dan will win. they'll probably show a clip of him on the GOF set accepting the award, thats what they did last year. good luck Harry Potter!

Last year during the Relly Awards, Daniel Radcliffe was too busy filiming POA he couldn't attend, but they did a satallite connection when he won! So if he does win a Relly again we should see him, unless they changed something....
