[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/blotts_80.jpg' align='middle'> Harry Potter and the Presidential Hopefuls -

Summary:
Neither candidate for the U.S. presidency Wesley ("I read 30 - 40 books a year") Clark nor former candidate for the U.S. presidency Joseph ("I went through a big Dylan phase") Lieberman could name J.K. Rowling as the author of the Harry Potter books when asked by VH1. (John Kerry was also given the quiz but not that question.) Good for them that Ms. Rowling doesn't have a vote in America

Technically technical all the time Bookaholic

I'm not too surprised. I mean, up until May of last year, I couldn't have told you the titles, let alone the author of the Harry Potter books. It's just not something a lot of older people read, especially if they don't have kids.

Explaination: Those people listed above are all Democrats who wish to run for the office of President in the United States. They were given a quiz by VH1 over random facts, just to show their common knowledge to America. The results of ONE QUESTION are shown in the article above. Understand?

I think that's very funny.. but do you really expect old American men who are campaigning for office to know who wrote the Harry Potter books? I am not surprised in the least- but still amused.

Geez what do ya expect? they most likely never have time to read a mainly childrens book and if they had time to read, then they would read political books or something....
