It's a great time to celebrate, as Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe turns 27 years old today, July 23, 2016!!
Dan filmed a couple of small roles, including The Tailor of Panama and David Copperfield, before landing the role of Harry Potter 16 years ago!
Dan starred in all eight
Harry Potter films, shot scenes for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attractions at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Japan and the venue opening next year at Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as a couple of great Harry cameos on Saturday Night Live, and even one bit for Queen Elizabeth's 80th birthday.
Outside of the Harry Potter series, Dan has starred in a variety of dramas, including
Kill Your Darlings,
The Woman in Black,
Horns,
December Boys,
My Boy Jack,
Victor Frankenstein,
Horns,
Game Changer, the dark comedy series
A Young Doctor's Notebook, and had a couple of cameos on the animated series
The Simpsons and
BoJack Horseman.
This year alone, he saw the releases of
Swiss Army Man,
Now You See Me 2, his currently off-Broadway play
Privacy, and the upcoming drama
Imperium.
