Half-Blood Prince wins 2009 Teen Choice award
 

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince won the Choice Summer Movie Action Adventure category at this year's Teen Choice Awards, which took place yesterday evening.

The telecast for the programme will air Monday evening on FOX at 8PM EST; it is unknown if any Half-Blood Prince cast or crew members were in attendance to receive the award, though it is unlikely as the majority of them are at work on Deathly Hallows filming.

In addition to Half-Blood Prince's win, actor Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire), was the recipient of several Teen Choice Awards this year for his work in Twilight, including Choice Movie Actor Drama and Choice Movie Rumble.

That's exciting...kinda. I wasn't that impressed with the film, but I wouldn't mind seeing some of the cast at the Awards Show.

Isn't it surprising how it won the Teen Choice Award and lots of time here is spent raking the movie over the coals for inaccuracies and omissions. Guess we should think about that for a while.
