The second annual awards show will take place on January 28th with this particular prize being presented by Simon Bates, who DJs for the station. Hogwarts RPG Name: Jacqueline Antonia Dillinger Sixth Year | NY Yankees Love! Just voted, and definitely hoping that the Half-Blood Prince score wins the 2010 Classic FM Film Music of the Year Award. That would be so great and wonderful. Nicholas Hooper definitely deserves to win. He did a fantastic job and there's no denying his talent and the great work he does. |

I'm not called "direct diva" for nothing folks. I don't think he deserves it, and I hope he doesn't win it. Nicholas Hooper's bland, uninspired, soft-rock pablum belongs in the elevator, or in a dentist's office. With the exception of a few bright spots, his scores helped contribute to the overall badness of the last two Potter films. Patrick Doyle did the best job of scoring any Potter film, and I rarely hear him praised. I voted for Up. Sorry!

Not to mention getting Jarvis Cocker & Co. on board! Hooper's music is so blah, it has no singular style that sticks out, it's just sort of....white noise, you barely have time to register it's even there.
