Awww, I really want to see it now I've never been to an IMAX theater. How big are the screens compared to regular theater screens?

A standard IMAX screen is 22 metres (72 ft) wide and 16.1 metres (53 ft) high, but can vary.

It was no big deal, but by all means if you want to see the opening in 3D go ahead and see it.

i saw it in IMAX the day it came out... it was really cool! I feel bad for the people who came in late... they missed the 3D part, it ended when Harry apparated to the burrow.

I saw the movie long ago before the IMAX.......it must be cool but it would not change the rating for this movie. Definitely i will watch the 3D when DH comes out.

Saw it in IMAX. Opening sequences were incredible. I just wished they had done the Quiddictich scenes in 3-D too!

IMAX IS AMAZING the 3d scenes were awsome, it was all worth it, it felt like a ride, the sound is soo loud that i thought people were actually going to be disturbed by it, but they and i loved it!! and the screen is huge which is also very awsome, it was very cool <3

i am only going to see it in imax because there is a theatre 20 mins from my house....other than that, a giant screen....no big deal...the regular theatres were just as awesome.

saw it one time in a regular theatre. saw it yesterday in imax (but i missed the beginning). i gotta try to get over the disappointment of paying extra to see the same thing. Other than that, I hope I get one more chance to see it in imax!

So only the opening is in 3D? That's a bit of a disappointment... I'd like to see it in IMAX anyway. Unfortunately, the closest IMAX is an hour away and there's no way my dad would take me because he hates fantasy movies. Ah well
