| | | Grave 'Goblet of Fire' error fixed
I'm sure you're all familiar with the original thread where several people spotted the mistake in the 'Goblet of Fire' graveyard picture.
Moviefone.com has now released an image of the corrected tombstone. Not only is the middle name "Marvolo" omitted, but the birth year has also been changed from 1915 to 1905. Making Voldemort's father 21 when his son was born rather than 11.
The image can be seen below. Harry in the Graveyard

His appearance is almost exactly like his book description with the exception of the chunk of his nose missing. Alastor is fine. However this isn't the place to discuss that.
This just goes to show the power of Potter fans. Who knows what would have happened if we didn't say anything. It probably would have just been left in.

Well, ummm the movie Moody is not how I pictured Moody, same with my friend 'pavartifan' but yeah I dunno I just don't think that the blonde hair suites Moody.

Well Its good that they fixed the dates, at least no one's gonna think he was a... no I wont say it cos I'm not sure if I'm allowed but at least no one's gonna think he had children at eleven. There, thats a more formal way of putting it.

It would be nice if they let one fan have an exclusive view of the movie to correct errors such as those. Who, but the fans, can notice when Harry's scar switches sides on his head, or any of the out of canons errors. They should seriously consider it. J.K. Rowling has said herself that occasionally she checks HP-Lexicon to make sure she's in canon. She was joking, but, seriously, the fans know their story. |

They did a good job fixing it, too. Whew, another crisis averted. If they're smart, they'll stop showing us stuff before the film is released.

But that's not the point, because we're getting a little off topic here...
Anyways, I am soo glad they have change the year on the tombstone, otherwise, it would just strike me as odd, nevertheless soo... incorrect. A big error, indefinitely.

There are bound to be some mistakes in all the movies anyway as its had for JK herself to get the books to flow right from tone to the other, and shes the one with it all in her head. The film makers probably have a harder job still. I noticed in HBP a mistake she had done.
