For some reason I like knowing that I was one of those 5 million... hehe And man, talk about amazing. If you average the DVD costing about 22 dollars at 5 million copies sold, that's like 110 million bucks in the first day... all that money to everyone involved in that DVD and HP. Wow. |

For those of you in the U.K. or any country where the DVD hasn't been released yet, if you can afford it get the special edition. All that's on the single disc is the movie period which is great but the interviews and the extra scenes are worth the extra cost of special edition. |

I am proud to say I was one of the nerds at Wal Mart at 1am that morning purchasing my DVD. I almost dressed up in my Gryffindor student costume but decided against it cause it was too cold out. lol |

I wonder if Warner means the sales of the single-disc edition or the 2-disc Special Edition? It's probably the combined sales of both. Everyone who does not have their copy yet, the 2-disc set is definitely the DVD you should get. This is probably the most comprehensive Potter DVD, and the documentaries and featurettes are fairly lengthy and informative. (Note that the teaser trailer for GOF is included on the 2-disc SE and not the theatrical trailer released September 2005.) |

I got the dvd yesterday and I watched it all day lol, well mabye not all day but, its has some great extras on the second dvd. i have to admit that the first time I saw it in the theatres i was a bit shocked a few times after seeing it again I think it was just an O'K film. but now since seeing the dvd extra I just have more repect for all the people who put so much time and effort into making it. and all the actors are such wonderful people i really feel by the end u know them.( though u dont) so i kinda have to support them and say it was a great film :) |

I was one of those loyal fans and got in on the 7th! I loved the special features DVD!!! So worth it! Daniel Radcliffe is the best Harry Potter! I am proud I am one of the 5m people to buy the DVD on its release date! Though I throrougly believe that this movie should have been released in both the UK and the US on the same. I was one of them. At the Wal Mart in my town, there were still a lot left at 7pm. I was a little dissipointed, but hey, at least I got one. Yea! And yes, I did watch it when I got home. I'm really happy that the Harry Potter movies sold that much the first day!!! Keep it comming!! |

I am very glad to say that i am one in the nearly 5million sales! woohoo! It is very sad to hear that the british didn't get thiers on the 7th! but, i was flipping out for like the previous 2 weeks before it came out on DVD and when i had to wait until 7:30 when my stepdad got home wit the dvd i was so bored, but i did get to watch it during the seventh hour of the seventh day of the third month! -sorry random moment! But i declared that day to be a harry potter holiday! |
