GoF DVD sells 5 million on first day of sale in US
 

Business Wire reports that nearly 5 million copies of the 'Goblet of Fire' DVD were sold in the US on the first day of release.

thats great although admittedly not surprising. its so great it had to make millions! harry potter rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason I like knowing that I was one of those 5 million... hehe And man, talk about amazing. If you average the DVD costing about 22 dollars at 5 million copies sold, that's like 110 million bucks in the first day... all that money to everyone involved in that DVD and HP. Wow.

For those of you in the U.K. or any country where the DVD hasn't been released yet, if you can afford it get the special edition. All that's on the single disc is the movie period which is great but the interviews and the extra scenes are worth the extra cost of special edition.

Ok, that is awesome!! It will be movie & pizza for us this saturday night - I can't wait!!!

I am proud to say I was one of the nerds at Wal Mart at 1am that morning purchasing my DVD. I almost dressed up in my Gryffindor student costume but decided against it cause it was too cold out. lol

:woot: wow, I thought it would be big, but I didn't realize it would be this big!

YAY! and I was one of those 5 million..... Robert looks really hot on the special special features.. Isn't it funny that Americans get the dvd before Dan, or Emma, or Jo, or Rupert, or Stan, or- yeah......(yeah, I know kinda off topic :loved: , but it relates to the dvd!)
